It had been a long day, well night, there wasn't really much of a difference to him anymore except for the fact that the world was inaccessible to him half the time. He was on his way home from a personal investigation he had started in to one of his former students from the hospital. There had been some nasty rumors floating around his name and he wanted to make sure none of them were true, though his location and workplace was true enough, there was no evidence supporting the more vile rumors, at least not that he could find this night. It was a weird thing as well, he never actually kept in contact with any of his students, that would be very hard with the schedule and life that he had. And besides, even if as he saw his students as some sort of family, he was sure they only saw him as a teacher, which he was fine with of course. Thinking about it made him realize that it was for the best either way, kept them out of the danger he got himself in to. But that said, it didn't stop him from keeping an eye on them, and when they would be in trouble or as in this case being accused of things, he felt like it was his duty to check on them. He didn't make contact with his student this time, only some light looking around for information, he might take it a step further if the rumors persisted about him.

The streets were empty as always, he never thought he would miss the crowded loud streets as much as he did now, the street vendors, the scammers, the pick pocketing children. It might of sounded weird for someone that didn't grow up here or live here, but this city had its charm, though he had spent most of it in the rotten root, he had been in this district a few times and he knew the streets weren't like that here, but still. Empty streets was always nice to encounter at times, but when it became all there was, it grew tiresome. Then again it was for the best, being what he was he didn't need any excuse to help him feed. He was always hungry seeing as he avoided feeding on people, luckily he could get blood bags from his suppliers, but those were extremely rare and more expensive than the rest of the supplies, leaving him to feed on animals which he felt horrible for doing even if he left them alive, but doing so would leave him still hungry for more. But he did keep himself above starvation, even if it was barely, he was getting more and more worried about it as well. He felt like his body was getting more and more used to the idea of feeding, something that was going to become a problem in the future. He had already accepted feeding for Lucia so that she wouldn't have to, which was a good thing, but it also proved that he was willing to feed, whether it be for her or not.

As he was nearing the end of the district he saw a figure in the fog, he seemed different than the other people he had seen out this night, like he was struggling with something. Maybe he was imagining it but he didn't have any upcoming plans, so he had time to check on him, even if he didn't have his tools nor ability with him. As he got closer he could see him more clearly, and thus called out to him. "Hey, you alright there pal?" He said with a raised and concerned voice. The scent he gave off was human, but it seemed a little different that the others around the district, he couldn't tell why though.

[For at se dette link skal du være tilmeldt og logget ind.] but definitely more raggy, filled with dirt and torn some places around the sleeves.

Damien had been on his way home, barely dressed to the weather with the thin broken jacket, but the cold didn't bother him, nothing bothered him. He barely felt anything unless he rembered the past. But it was also on this particular walk that he had felt so calm, right when the storm of memories had hit him shortly after. He hadn’t even done anything to trigger them, in fact there was no reason for them to strike his mind at this moment. But it had happened and now he was stuck in them:” Damieeeeeeeeeeeeeeen…… Damieeeeeen~ Would you like to play?? I want to play! I will be nice this time!” a familiar female voice toyed in his mind, with same sinister playful tone as he could remember it being. He had not been far from his home before he had to stop, lean against the wall while he grabbed both sides of his head in agony. There was no physical reaction however, no screams or indication of pain, other than the profusely trembling of his shoulders by the horror of it.
He was taken back to his first couple of days. The cutting, the slashing, the laughs of enjoyment as his flesh was torn off, sewn back together, healed, repeat. He remember the persistent screams that ended up tearing his vocal cords for a couple of days, right until that had been healed as well. He felt as if his mind was being torn apart again. Not that he wasn’t used to this. He pushed himself up from the wall, could he only get closer to the house, all this energy running through his mind could be projected into the victim of his ability.
His steps were heavy and he barely moved ahead, bumping his shoulder into the wall at random times, feeling lucky to only fall against the wall. "Stop thinking.... stop thinking... almost home.." he begged in a whisper. He stopped as soon as a voice was heard behind him. He pulled himself together and got on both of his feet, shortly before his whole head fell back at such speed that he was barely lucky not to hurt himself. Then it slowly rolled down onto his shoulder in an odd yet disturbing manner. Then he turned his face around, only moving his shoulders to be halfway turned around, making him still stand towards the stranger with his back.
He pinched his eyes shortly before a smile formed on his face, as he pulled out a knife from his pants. He then pulled up his sleeve as he looked down at his arm, covered in scars from cuts and whatnot. “I’m so tired…. Of all the pain…. All the memories and the pain… They cut me, ripped me open, sew me back together, days on end… Never stops, the thoughts never stops, they stay in my memory… The pain isn’t physical, but that doesn’t make it hurt less. They’re still tormenting me…” he mumbled, yet clear enough for the stranger to hear. His hand was shaking desperately as he moved it closer to the skin.
Never stops… never ever stops… the thoughts… laughs....” he whispered as he stared at his own arm, conflicted to proceed or not. Would he even feel it? “The voices, they laugh, they laugh even though they’re dead, the laughs never stops, laugh in my sleep, laugh when I’m awake, mocking me because I’m still alive and they’re dead. THEY'RE MOCKING ME!” He started saying to himself, the last being a loud and clear scream, before the knife pierced his skin, making the blood run down his arm, to his hand and then on the ground.

As he got closer to him it proved to be right, he was indeed struggling the way he was moving about, leaning on the wall for support. After he called out to him he saw how hard it seemed for him to control his body, if that was not his normal movement, which seemed unlikely being a human and all.. Everything about him was off though, his facial expression, the way he moved his body, the raggy clothes that had a bunch of cuts around his arms. But even with all those red flags he didn't give off anything but a human vibe, which meant that he had the upper hand if things got physical, something he hoped to avoid. Not only didn't he want to hurt him, but a fight could trigger a more primal version of himself, just like it had before which would make it a lot harder to avoid draining him.

As he saw the knife he raised his hands slightly to make sure he didn't feel threatened. And just before he could say anything the guy pulled up his sleeve to reveal a lot of scars which shifted his thoughts around. The knife was not for Nicholas, it was for himself, why?  "Whoa, relax, there is no need for that" He exclaimed in a serious tone as he very slowly approached him. As he got closer he listened carefully to what the stranger said, how there was so much pain and torment in his past, haunting him. It was all too familiar, even if the pain was different, the result would be the same. If he was correct, that meant he was going to hurt himself to avoid thinking about it, making him focus on the pain. And seeing all the scars he had, it was something he had been doing for a while. "Listen, you don't have to do that, it won't solve your problems, the past will not go away.." He spoke with a serious tone, because he had plenty of experience in it. He was getting closer, hoping to get close enough to take the knife away before he could do anything.

But he kept going, it was clear that it was not guilt that haunted him, it was someone that had done him wrong in some way, and from what he had said it sounded like torture, and a lot of it. The more he spoke the more he became more and more similar to Ramsay's victims, what they told him was very alike what he was talking about, so it had to be something horrific. As he got closer he his eyes on the knife, ready to take it, but to his surprise the strangers voice got really loud at the end, making him look up at him as a shock just as the knife pierced his skin. "NO!" He exclaimed as he reached out, stopping himself and taking a step or two back. The distance did not help with his scent, the sweet warm smell of his sanguine colored blood had already filled his mind, making his fangs slowly come down against his will. He moved his eyes up to meet the strangers ones. "Please, cover that up.." His voice was calm and serious, but inside it was trembling, trying to remains as calm as he could.

The stranger trying to comfort him was pointless. Damien was way too caught up in his own mind to even notice the world around him. All he focused on was getting the blade of the knife through his skin. It was too painful, the demon in his head screaming at him. “Damien, don’t stop screaming! We’ve only just begun! Give me that deliciousss~ bloooood~” she scolded him. The weapon free hand automatically sought to touch his own neck, run his fingers down the teeth marks on his throat, some vampire, some demon and one who always used a knife. The worst one was the demon, the purpose of tapping his blood wasn’t for feeding, it was just for the pure fun of it.
The knife ran down the back of his arm, creating a wound that wasn’t deadly, but also couldn’t be left unantended. Not that he cared. Blood loss was not a concept to him unless he was being completely drained. The good thing about his system was that his body somehow had upgraded it’s own blood production, making him able to feed his victims with his blood. Maybe it was one of the few perks of his ability, he wouldn’t know.
He pulled out a string of cloth as the stranger asked him to cover it up, as he carefully tumbled towards the stranger, not really on purpose but because his mind was torn. But being asked to cover it up, made him think on something else for a second. This short second sparked his curiosity and he lifted his gaze to look at the stranger, when he looked him into the eyes. He noticed the difference in the look, the little hint of being dead in his eyes. Vampire.
Ah… Yeah, I’m sorry… It stops the pain… Well it doesn’t but I’d like to think it does… It's just the voices, they talk and yell and laugh.” he explained. Though the stranger being as close as he was due to Damien’s tumble, that being unless the stranger had taken a few steps back? Either way, Damien started carefully wrapping his arm in the cloth in almost like a routine-like manner. Nevertheless, he wasn’t intending on keeping it that way, because as soon as he was in range, he let go of the cloth, to let it completely slide off his arm, grabbing the stranger by the neck before forcing the wound against his mouth as the rest of the wounded arms force went to force the stranger against the wall.
Even if the vampire had strength enough to push him away, his blood would be all over his mouth. “Drink it, vampire.” He demanded as his eyes stared into the vampires with a slight smirk over his face. Realizing that the stranger was no ordinary person, had made Damien shift from his defensive behaviour to a more offensive one. The one that could do unspeakable things, the one that sought revenge instead of relief. “It’s okay… Just a little taste..” he then said. If the vampire had managed to get him off, he’d simply just lift his arm and let the blood roll down his arm for the vampire to see. All that blood going to waste.

When he saw the cut he could see that it was a dangerous one, but seeing how bad was something he couldn't do because the more he looked at it the less control he had, that's why he looked him in the eyes instead. But the wound had to be treated at some point, in not too long, because it was a nasty wound, luckily the cloth he had should at least slow it down for a while. The strangers tumble made his hands react as they were to catch him, but he seemed to be fine, and when he started talk it made him less cautious. He could understand the reasoning behind it, after all he had done it himself, but that wasn't a reason to just let him hurt himself.

As he wrapped his arm with the cloth he took a step closer which was noticed by Nicholas, it made him suspicious of him again, trying to figure out what he was up to. If the stranger thought he was a human he could understand if he was going to do something stupid, but if he knew what he was, he wouldn't come this close to him, especially with the state of his arm. "Yeah it's alright, i understand how you feel" He said calmly with concern in his voice. But before he could continue, the stranger grabbed him by the neck and pressed him up against the wall. It was the shock of it that made him not react, he had no intention of hurting the stranger so he wasn't going to fight back. That lasted until the stranger pressed the wound against his mouth, making him consume some of it before getting angry. He pushed him off as he took a step away. "Are you crazy?! What the hell are you doing!?" He exclaimed as his head was throbbing with pain from struggling against his new nature. Why was he doing this, the stranger clearly stated that he was a vampire, so why would he try to force feed himself to a him? It didn't make any sense at all, he wasn't giving off any vibes of starvation was he? And even if that were true it was not an act of kindness, he could see that in his eyes..

The blood he got pressed in his mouth was so good, he couldn't help but to lick his lips to get more of it, even if he knew it was going the wrong direction. He wanted to walk away, but it wasn't possible, when he thought about leaving his feet became heavy as concrete, but when he thought about leaping on the stranger his feet were light as a feather. He was looking away from the stranger, pressing his hands on his head, the pain was unbearable and felt like an eternity. He could smell it so clearly, hear everything, his heartbeat, the blood rushing out to his arm and out the wound, the drops dripping from his arm to the ground. Every splash on the ground was like hearing every second strike on an old clock, almost hypnotizing the longer it went on. His breathing turned into growling as he eventually lost control, turning his head towards the stranger with a dead expression. He saw the bleeding arm, but that wasn't the best spot, he was thirsty, and the arm wouldn't be enough.

He looks at his neck and sees the jugular pulsating with the same rhythm as his heartbeat. In an instant he's on him, pressing him up against the same wall, using one hand holding his head to the side against the wall to expose the throat more. His razor sharp teeth pierces the skin and digs deep, making his blood pour out of the wound.
As he was feeding he thought about how stupid it was of him to avoid this, it was a gift after all, certain people deserved to be drained either way right? Something this good could not be that bad, he wasn't going to change so why fight it anymore, it would be an endless fight. Then a thought occurred to him, the student he went to see had a really peculiar type of blood that worked like an ability. Was that why this stranger tried forcing it to him, because it was somehow poisonous? He stops himself before he could rip a bigger hole in the neck and backs off. He couldn't feel anything but maybe that was because he didn't feed that long. His gaze moves to the strangers eyes again. "Why would you let me do this to you?..." His voice is confused and curious at the same time, trying to figure out what this was all about.

Even if the vampire took a lot of his blood, it wouldn’t affect him unless he came to the point were the blood loss was deadly. This was nothing, he could still function properly. A big grin was on his face as the stranger backed off, questioning why he did it. He tilted his head with a big smile on his face before he shook his head, having a huge change in personality wasn’t an odd thing for Damien. He could switch so easily, though being broken and avoiding people were his safe haven. But this was fun, a spark of joy that he needed once in a while. “In a couple of minutes you’ll see. You’re mine… My little plaything. Don’t worry. I have no intend of harming you.. Yet… Are you struggling to speak?
You should be soon enough... Voices are driven by the vocal chord, driven by the brain... Like the rest of the body-movements that I will control soon enough,
” he explained as he leaned down to grab the bandage from before, carefully wrapping it around his neck, in the same routinely manner as he did with the arm.
He was too used to getting hurt, that being self inflicted or by the hands of others, it didn’t matter to him. He had had enough to know how to stitch himself back together. As he finished wrapping his neck, well enough to stop the blood, but he knew that he had to stitch it as soon as he got home. That however, wasn’t a concern of his. He would get home alright. He waited a little bit before he turned his back to the stranger looking ahead for his home.
Do you feel it? No not yet… But soon you will. It starts as a tingling in your fingertips and toes… And then you feel your arms and legs sleep, how they wont budge by your command. You won’t realize any of this till you feel like your heart is beating irregular… Well….. If you had a heartbeat to begin with.” He said, but as he turned around mid speaking, the stranger would see that his lips were not moving. It was the effects of the blood, not far enough into the system to take over, not yet. But he could hear Damien’s thoughts. See into his mind as well, if Damien allowed, but to see his memories, it would take more blood and a prolonged sustained blood intake.
His eyes shifted from looking into one eye to the other. So many things they could do. “Walk.” He commanded but not by voice, by blood. If the stranger complied, he’d wait a bit before stopping him. “Stop” he’d command. Simply to test how well the blood was starting to work on the stranger. He pinched his eyes shortly before he walked up next to the stranger, shoulder to shoulder and looked at him.
I see some sort of pain in your eyes. Unknown pain, not from anything I’d understand.” He spoke out, yet he knew that the stranger couldn’t answer until he said so. The effects of the blood, were total control of any body movement, that also being the vocal chords. He started walking slowly towards his house and then commanded. “Walk with me. And talk.” Then he spoke with his voice:" Tell me about yourself, if you'd like." He knew that he could only ask of movements, what the stranger were to tell him, was not in his hands, the ability wasn’t in range of the mind.
He scratched the bandage as they walked, it was starting to irritate him, having the cloth over his scars, disconnecting the skin of his neck from being able to be touched by the skin of his fingertips. As they arrived at his house he opened the door and gestured the stranger in, as if he had a choice. “Behave as you normally would.” He commanded. He closed the door behind them before looking at the stranger. “But if you try anything, I’ll make your brain explode. I haven’t succeeded, but I might some day.” He warned him as he walked towards a door, opening to reveal a finely furnished living room, which Damien never ever could have bought – Which he hadn’t.
He sat down on one of the sofas before gesturing to one in front of him. He leaned back and exhaled, tilting his head to stare at the ceiling. “Do you like the house? It was once the property of my captors. They were pretty wealthy yet sadistically beasts. With a great taste for blood.” He said, before looking back at the stranger. His eyes then wandered to one corner of the room and a short expression of disgust fell over his face before all expression disappeared. “I don’t suppose you’d know what it’s like to be trapped for years as someone’s playtoy. To be drained, mutilated.” He started shaking his head and rubbing his temples as the memories came back.

You alright there pal?.. - Damien Empty Sv: You alright there pal?.. - Damien

Indlæg af Gæst Fre 7 Apr 2017 - 4:56

He saw the grin on his face as he asked the question, it was clearly what he wanted to happen, a trap. But was it a trap from the start, try to look like he struggled to get a predator close? Or was this something he came up with after they met, because it was doubtful that it was just self defense. Nicholas didn't act aggressive or like a threat so it was hard to believe he was acting in defense, especially with the grin he had. This was on purpose, but why was something he couldn't understand.

He listened carefully to what he said, trying to find clues to figure everything out. It sounded very much like his students ability, he was going to be the strangers plaything. So that had to be a paralyzing effect, or something similar to it, making him unable to do as he wanted. But seeing as he was talking about everything being connected to the brain it had to be more than just paralysis, some kind of mind control? Trying to make sense of certain abilities was like trying to reason with fanatics, there was no point in it, the only way he was truly going to learn was if the stranger told him. He wiped his mouth as he started stretching his arms and legs, feeling stiff in his limbs was a bad sign. He was worried what he had gotten himself into this time seeing as last time he trusted a stranger she turned him into a vampire. Then again what could be worse?

He looks at him. "I was clearly not going to hurt you, so why do this to me? Was that the plan all along?" He asked confused and yet a hint of anger to it, because after everything he had been through, he really didn't have time for this bullshit, whatever it was. He watched him bandage his wounds, the wound on the strangers arm was still a danger to not fix so if they were heading somewhere with supplies he was going to stitch it up. He might be cruel, that was yet to reveal itself, but he did not deserve to die, so he had his obligations to make sure that didn't happen. From what he heard about his past he might just have a grudge against vampires or demons. When the stranger turned around he could still hear him clear as day, he didn't pay much attention to it seeing as that was not his main concern at the moment. As he was talking about the symptoms he could feel them creeping in, the tingling sensation in his fingers, his limbs getting more numb, struggling to move them as he tried it. When he looked backup at the stranger he saw that he wasn't talking, but he could still hear it, that was what caught him the most off guard, because that was something way beyond a paralyzing effect. This was some sort of mind control, meaning he could take control of peoples nervous system, most likely with his blood. It was fascinating from a doctors point of view, so much to consider, did the strangers blood get absorbed in to the tissue and into his bloodstream? Making its way up to his head, and if that was the case would it go through the heart? That would pose a great risk of dying depending on how much was flowing through him, and how long would it last? How much control would he loose? There were so many questions.

As soon as he heard walk he felt the urge to walk, and the body was more than happy to comply, but he didn't want to give in. The legs slowly made their way forward, but it was slow because of his struggling, he stopped as soon as he told him to. When the stranger walked up to him he glared into his eyes as he spoke, couldn't he just get to the point instead of this, there was clearly something he wanted, so why not get on with it and not waste both of their times. He had no choice but to follow him and do what he asked, for now, but at least he could talk again. "You don't care about me, so there would be no point in talking about it, and besides, you haven't earned the right to know.. So why not get straight to the point, why don't you just tell me what you want so we can get it over with and be on our ways." He said in a tired voice, he really didn't have the patience for this right now.

When they got inside a house, most likely the stranger's, he was allowed to do what he wanted, of course with a warning attached to it like predicted. Though his threat was absurd and yet slightly funny, it wouldn't be possible to make a brain explode, the best he could hope for would be a brain hemorrhage, which was just as deadly so the threat would be very real if he managed to do that. Either way it was no need for it, he had no intention of doing anything to him. He shakes his feet, arms and bends his neck to the sides, it felt good to be in control again, very freeing. He slowly walked and looked around the place before sitting down at the sofa the stranger gestured at. Then leaning forward on his knees as he listened to the stranger talk. This not being his did not come as a big surprise to him knowing of his ability. But as sad as his story might have been, he was more worried about his wounds at the moment, taking care of them would make him relax more. "Yeah that house is nice but can i treat those wounds of your before we start talking? Though seeing as i don't have my ability anymore i need equipment if i am to tend them.." There was little patience in his voice as he just wanted to make peace with him, there was no need for hostility, not that he was showing any, it was more that he had a bad feeling.

The stranger's question made him immediately think of Lucile, because he had just described her background perfectly. "Personally i don't no.. But someone very close to me does, and through her i have come to understand quite a lot about it. I've also encountered and treated several victims of such a fate. I'm sorry you were put through that..." His voice became more somber as he looked down at the floor. He was more sympathetic than he normally would be in his new form, but that was because his story was very similar to that of Lucile's, which made him think of her and all the shit she had been through, a lot of it because of him.

No. You’re right. I do not care about you. But I might if you tell me a story touching enough. My heart does after all pump with blood and empathy. One more than the other,” he answered, noting the lack of patience in the stranger’s voice. He did understand where the half-ill feelings were coming from, it wasn’t that he particularly enjoyed taking people’s free will away from them. But it was embedded in him, branded after years of torture. His empathy was strained, probably one of the worst effects of it all – He could never truly feel human again, or care for others like he used to.
When they sat down and the stranger spoke of his wounds, he lifted his hand to feel the bandage around his neck, slowly before glancing down at the wound on the arm. He knew that the stranger was right, keeping the wounds unattended wouldn’t end well. But did Damien really care about infections or death? Not really. He shook his head and waved his hand as his answer. “I assume you're a surgeon or someone with knowledge of medicine, going about my wound the way you are. But don't worry, I’ll fix it. You don’t have to worry about me.” He told him.
As the stranger spoke of his close friend, Damien started listening. He was interested in knowing more. Another person that felt like he did? Who knew of the pain? He would like to meet her some time. Maybe get a few tips on how to fix the mental damage that came along with the package. He then opened his jacket as the warmth of the room was getting to him. Underneath he was wearing a well worn out t-shirt, torn at the bottom with dirt and blood all over it. But it exposed his arms, slightly visible strong muscles underneath the skin which was filled with scars from wrist to shoulder, the sight of the rest, cut off by the restraints of the t-shirt.
He was going to say something as another person’s voice was heard. Only that Damien was the only one who could hear her. “Damieeenn~ stop shutting me out… We’re playmates. We’ll always be.” Her voice teased him, before something cold gripped his shoulder. But all this was happening in his mind, remembering her. His expression turned surprised by the sound of her, by the ghastly touch of hers. She moved closer, unaffected by any physical item in the room, floating behind him. He felt her grip tighten before her arms sled around his neck, embracing him in a cold unsettling hug.
Fuck off…” he exclaimed lowly as all of his scars simultaneously started itching, making it all that more unbearable. His hands started shaking, the same as the rest of his being – He was scared, scared of her, but she wasn’t real, she was in his mind. He loosened the bandage around his neck, touching a particular scar, the grisliest of them all – her teeth. “I want you gone… I want you out of my head, but I cant, I cant have you leave my mind. You won’t leave my mind because YOU BRANDED ME.” He started, first in a low voice, raising as he spoke until he yelled at the top of his lungs, getting on his feet to get free of her grip. "But you enjoyed it, didn't you? You enjoyed having my attention... Little boy." she whispered in his ear, making him realize that he couldn't escape her. He turned around and tumbled back, losing his footing to fall on the floor, taking off most of the impact with his wounded arm.
The blood started flowing underneath him, slowly as the weight of his body was holding the wound together. His neck was also bleeding after having the bandage taken off. He got up as his eyes shifted around, trying to locate her but she was no where to find. “She’s the worst of them…. She likes to talk… More talk than torture, more torture than talk, one at a time, both at the same time. The mocking.. Make me realize how broken I am – How broken I’ll always be. That girl of yours, does she see them too? The horrible people?” he said, forming it all into a question. He looked at the stranger but this time differently, avoiding eye contact, seeming scared.
He got up and grabbed around his wounded arm, trying to keep it closed. Then he got up and moved over to a cabinet, opening it with the wounded hand that felt rather odd all of a sudden. He ignored it as he pulled out supplies to fix his arm. He threw it on the table, not really caring for much else than the needle and thread. Not feeling pain was a relief in fixing wounds, he didn’t feel the needle pierce his skin. But then he let go of the needle before leaning back, exhaling deeply.
You know. I try to stay alive, even though there’s no actual point in it. I won’t gain anything from living. I’m too broken to function, too much to be fixed. Maybe it’s better if I don’t. Yeah, maybe it's better to die. That way I won't end up hurting more people. I won't stop hurting them. Never will.” he then said before ripping off the barely started stitch-work, tearing the wound further. Then he pushed all the supplies off the table in anger, before sitting down again. So pointless.

When the stranger said that he would fix his own wounds made him slightly frustrated, he had met several people that didn't need his help because they would do it themselves, whether it was the soldiers in the war or just random encounters. It wasn't that fact they wouldn't accept his help, there were several reasons to not do that, pride or lack of trust. What he found annoying was that barely anyone of them knew how to do it properly, it was more than just sow it shut, there was cleaning, making a clean patchwork to make it easier on the body o regenerate and there was infection. But he would respect his wishes, if wanted to do it himself he was going to let him. "Yes, yes and more than that, but alright, I'll let it go.." His voice was calm and collected, he was starting to get more patient now that he knew that the wounds would at least be tended. Seeing all the scars he had proved that he was no stranger to them, so he probably had some experience with patching himself up, he just hoped most of them weren't self inflicted.

He let out a sigh before he noticed the stranger acting weird, he tilted his head slightly with a frown, looking confused at him. The expression, the movements he had seemed jumpy, what was going on? Then when he told him to fuck off and shook his hands he was about to intervene, but then he started talking and he knew what was going on, he had seen this before as well, it was not a pleasant sight. He was talking to a made up version of whoever did this to him, reminding him of what happened, probably what happened earlier as well. As soon as he fell and made the wounds worse he intervened, walking up to him placing a hand on his shoulder. "Ay! Snap out of it man, its not real!" He exclaimed as he place another around his arm, looking at the wound. What the stranger told him was really familiar, he noticed how he wouldn't look him in the eyes when he spoke. "It's alright, you don't have to be scared or ashamed, I'm here to help. She doesn't have to... the guy is still alive.. and he is still making her life hell to this day, and i am not making it better..." He almost drifted into his thoughts as he spoke with a calm and somber voice. He helped him on his feet and saw that he was heading for a cabinet so he sat back down on the sofa like before.

He watched his patchwork like a hawk, making sure everything was done right, or at least right enough to not take over. What the stranger said got to him, had had felt the same before, the difference was that he would leave Lucile alone, and that would not be fair. When he ripped  open what he had done to his arm and pushed everything away it triggered Nicholas, it was time to take over. He picked up the needle and the thread plus a bandage then walked over to him and started to clean the wound with the bandage. If he would resist he would press him down in the sofa with his shoulder even using his feet if he had to, the only thing that would stop him was the ability he had. He started stitching as he talked. "So you will gain anything from dying, is that it? You are not to broken, i can already tell that, there is only one person beyond saving and sadly he still lives. You killing yourself won't accomplish shit, With the ability and past you have you can do so much good, not only can you relate to several victims, but your ability is powerful and can be used for a lot of things that can help. If you can't live for yourself, then live for others. Whats going on with you is not permanent, it's temporary, even if it doesn't feel like it.." He said with an angry tone, he didn't actually realize but the anger wasn't placed at him, it was more like he was talking to both him and himself, placing the anger at himself. He doubted this little speech would make him think any differently but it was worth a try.

There was an alternative solution to his problem, but it was a last resort, and not something he was sure he would even do. It was something he was going to suggest for Lucile when they first met, until he found out that Lucy was her own person. But he would never do it to her now, not in a million years, the risks were far to great to even think about it. But if all else failed he was at least going to suggest it for him and let him make his own decision. He finished his patchwork and rolled a new bandage around it before pinning it. Then he look at his neck and was ready to fix that as well. "You going to sit still?" He asked with a serious voice, it would be a lot easier to fix if he didn't have to hold him down and him being still.

You alright there pal?.. - Damien Empty Sv: You alright there pal?.. - Damien

Indlæg af Gæst Fre 7 Apr 2017 - 19:02

He was ready to die that minute. He didn’t want to continue this, it all just seemed pointless. What was there to live for? So when the stranger started fixing his wound, it angered him beyond belief. “Get the fuck off me, you’re making a mistake! You don't know what I've done. You don't fucking know!” he barked angrily at him as he did his best to struggle, avoiding the needle by pulling his arm. But the stranger seemed to finally have some sort of patience, keeping Damien still so he couldn’t struggle further. He knew that he could just use his ability, but he was so tired of controlling people for the time being, which was really in favour of the stranger.
Even though he was fighting him the best he could, realizing that he was human and the stranger was a vampire, resistance was futile. He gave up as soon as he realized that and leaned back, letting him stitch his arm back together. He exhaled loudly and clear for the stranger to hear, just to express his disapproval of this. He listened to him as he spoke but it just made him shake his head in disbelief. “That may go for you. I can tell that you’re harbouring wayyy more sympathy than I am. Which somehow saddens me.” He said, the last part being more of an inaudible mumble.
He started moving as he was trying to get up from the sofa, avoiding having his neck stitched together. The blood had started to soak into the shirt, making him shiver from the blood turning cold. “Why are you helping me anyway? Good hearted vampire. Never in my fucking life have I seen that before. Isn’t it in your nature to be the cause of disaster, not the one to avoid it?” he asked, clearly just to be spiteful. He exhaled angrily as he then just gave up all struggle, letting the stranger do what he wanted to do. He ran his free hand through his hair and looked away from the stranger, not even moving a muscle as the wound was being stitched. Quite frankly it was just because he didn’t feel it as pain. It had become a normality to him.
So… Your girl.. I assume that's what she is to you, unless she's a sister or something else, which makes my thoughts way grosser than I intended,” He started out, still not looking at him. “But anyway. Her devil is still alive.. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t see him when he’s not there… She might not just tell you.” He then said as he turned his gaze to look the stranger in the eyes. He had no problem with eye contact at this point, he felt that the stranger had already seen his worst sides. So the whole mantra he kept about eyes being the windows to the soul? Damien didn’t have a soul anyway, at least the more time went on, the more it felt so. And with his constant shifty personality, it was never safe to assume anything about him. “Us broken people tend to keep it back.. Even if it breaks us. Better than hurting someone you love. I assume. That’s what most people do” He said before looking away.
Not that he knew of love. He had never loved anyone. But that didn’t mean that the thought of love hadn’t crossed his mind. He wanted to know what love felt like. Having your heart race just because you’d be near that one person that would make all pain go away. It seemed so simple. “The name’s Damien. No last name. I have forgotten it in the middle of all the horror.” He introduced as his eyes shifted between the windows and doors, just making sure that she would be completely gone.
Yet I wonder. A sympathetic vampire. How did that happen?” he then asked with a certain curiosity. He had met a couple of vampires and never before had it turned out that they could harbour feelings. At least not as visible as this one had shown him. It was almost like it was a human trapped in a vampire’s body. He scoffed at the thought, how silly would that just be?

You alright there pal?.. - Damien Empty Sv: You alright there pal?.. - Damien

He could tell how badly the stranger didn't want him to fix the wound, how much he wanted it to just end, but that was not going to happen, not on his watch. When he spoke of how sympathetic he was compared to the stranger he did agree with him, but he was bound by an oath, which did push him at times where he wasn't empathetic enough. "Yeah, that's true, but we have different backgrounds, just because you are not as sympathetic as you'd want to be, doesn't mean you can't be." His voice remained calm as he spoke about it, the stranger had calmed down which mean he could do the same. He did believe what he said, it didn't matter who you were, or where you cam from, everyone could become a better person. With the one exception being Ramsay of course.

Seeing as the stranger tried to avoid getting his neck patched up he just held him in place and waited for him to get tired of struggling or use his ability, but listening to him while doing so. He chuckled at the end of it, he could feel the resentment towards his kind.. it still felt weird to him thinking that. His kind.. He still felt like the humans were his kind, but he couldn't help but to sympathies a lot more with the vampire kind now that he was one, knowing how it felt to be starving, and the fact that he knew his creator, which was not like the monsters they were portrayed as. "Yeah well, i was a doctor before i became a vampire, i suppose that has something to do with it.. Though my kind is not as bad as you think. But i don't expect you to believe me after what has been done to you.." His voice started cheerful but ended up in a somber tone without even thinking about it. He had started working on the wound mid talking and was not far from finishing it, listening to him talk. A smile formed on his face after that "Hah, well its more like I'm her guy, but yeah. And you might be right about that, i have thought about it and we have been through dances like that but currently we don't keep anything from each other. She knows i am here to listen to anything she says, but its up to her if she wants to share it, I'm not going to force anything out.." He had kept the smile the entire way through, he trusted her more than anyone and was sure that if she was struggling with anything she would tell him, just like he would her.

The neck was finished and it was time for the bandages. "Alright now don't be alarmed, I'm not coming on to you, i just need to bandage you. Oh and sorry about the cold, side effects of being dead youknow..." He said with a grin, meaning it as a joke seeing as his hand was already under his shirt grabbing the roll and wrapping it from the neck to his side so that he could make it tight and sturdy, something that would not be wise doing around his neck. Then after pinning the bandages he pulled out his arm from his shirt and gave him a clap on the shoulder before sitting back down in the sofa in front of him, hearing him out. But yet again he managed to pull a smile out on Nicholas. "You see? That right there.. is proof that you really are a good person. You say you're not sympathetic person, but yet you contradict yourself. You'd rather break yourself than make someone you love hurt." His smile gets bigger as he finishes, the voice was cheerful and hopeful, even if the stranger would deny it.

"Well it's good to meet you Damien, my name is Nicholas Dunham." He finally had a name for him, he was no longer a stranger. And it seemed like Damien was still curious about his vampirism, so why not just tell him, he had shared some of his past, it was only fair. "Ah yes.. Well, first you have to know that I've only been like this for a few weeks, so the age you see before you is my real age. You already know i was a doctor before, and when you become a doctor, you have to take an oath and swear that you will help every creature in need, good or bad, not everyone keeps it of course, but i personally hold it very dear to my heart. It might be hard for you to realize this but not all vampires are bad, just like not all demons are bad, not all angels are good. Your past speaks for itself but remember that a few dirty drops in the ocean does not make the ocean dirty... And besides, i have a lot of blood on my hands, and the large majority belongs to my human side. What i did to you tonight was no my intention, its the hunger, and i hate it.. Even got her with it, and i will never forgive myself for that.." His story had become more personal than he attended but he didn't mind, but thinking about it didn't help and he was still curious about Damien's ability. "It might be the doctor in me but this ability of yours has me fascinated, even if I'm a victim of it i find it very intriguing, tell me about it" His mind shifted to the question with an eager tone, the information could prove useful for a lot of things.

You alright there pal?.. - Damien Empty Sv: You alright there pal?.. - Damien

Indlæg af Gæst Lør 8 Apr 2017 - 1:54

Her guy? So sorta like a slave? Not sure I’d expect that from you… But hey, you’ve surprised me in so many different ways already.” He then remarked with a slight smile. Smiles from Damien were rare if not non-existent, unless they had some sinister meaning or madness behind them. But genuine happy smiles wasn’t something that he did. So when it happened, he surprised himself. He shook his head as the smile faded away. “It sounds like a deep love. I suppose that you do love her? Why were you not with her? Is she gone?” he then said, asking because he couldn’t be sure and it was sudden wonders that popped into mind. The love part was probably the one he mostly wanted answered. But then again, what was love? He didn’t know, so Nicholas could really say anything and brand it love and Damien would probably believe it without a single doubt.
When his hand went down Damien’s shirt a confused look was over his face and he didn’t really feel comfortable by it at first. However, after realizing that he was most probably not going to hurt him, he exhaled quietly and just let him. What he said made him pinch his eyes at him. “I surely hope not. Or the girl who you’re the guy to, might come skin me if she finds out. And I have yet not tried to be skinned alive, nor do I plan to find out what it feels like.” He said in a sort of monotone voice, but it was clear that it was meant as a joke.
He shook his head at the remark about his loved ones. It made him chuckle a little - a mix of being nervous and relieved but was just him wanting to believe it to actually be true. "Break myself than someone I love. That sounds very heroic indeed. Almost a cause worth chasing.... only that I don’t have anyone and love isn't a concept that I understand. I was only talking through my knowledge, no personal experiences. Most people have no worth to me anyway. The only reason I haven't tortured you or hurt you yet, is because I felt it would be boring today. Tell me, how does that make me a good person or someone worth saving?" He then said in a rather pessimistic voice, but that was just because he really couldn't see any good in him. He knew what type of person he was, the traits that were considered to be "good", none of those being of what he has.
He listened to his story and nodded once in a while to let him know that he was listening. Still shifting his eyes between the door and window, but listening to Nicholas rather than keep worrying. He turned his head and looked at him as he started speaking of good and bad. It made him chuckle. “Yeah I definitely don’t believe in stereotypes. Yet it’s a common trait for vampires to be cynical.” He said. He did note that Nicholas was blaming himself for the hunger which he didn’t understand. “You’re not honestly blaming yourself for your nature are you?” he asked with a confused tone. But he continued to get to his point already:” ...You just sat here talking about how much of a good person I am, yet you think that would mean you could out rule yourself from your words? Nu-huh. That doesn’t make sense. You know it doesn’t make sense.” He then said, pinching his eyes at him.
As he asked about his ability, it made Damien tilt his head. Not that he was surprised. Many of those who had survived his ability or broken the control usually didn’t want to know more about it, it was more of a try to get revenge or flee from the evil puppet master kind of scenario. But it was different with Nicholas because he hadn’t really gone through his normal procedures with him, which could explain why Nicholas wasn’t holding any grudges. He scratched his chin as he leaned back in the sofa, giving it some thought.
Well. It’s all in the blood. My blood. I don’t know many medical terms, so I’ll keep it very simple. My blood gives me access to any bodily movement that your body can make. Anything really is under my control. I could make your heart stop…. Or have you almost die… And still when you thought that you’d be too weak to move, I could make your own arm grasp your head and snap your neck to end your demise..” he explained, the last part reminding him of an encounter were it actually did happen. But the guy was going to die anyway, so it didn’t matter how he died.
But in order to keep the control, I have to stay crazy.. Dig around in my mind, remembering… It breaks certain places in my brain, making me able to use my ability to it’s fullest extent… Yet very exhausting, very dangerous… I could end up never snapping out of it. Has not happened so far, but the thought is terrifying.” He said, staring at the window. Fingers started wandering on the outside of the glass and he knew that she was back. He just stared with an empty expression as he awaited her mockery.

You alright there pal?.. - Damien Empty Sv: You alright there pal?.. - Damien

Indlæg af Gæst Lør 8 Apr 2017 - 3:45

When Damien asked if he was a slave to Lucile it made him laugh, there was something funny about imagining Lucile as a slave master, not that he would mind it though. "Sure" He said as he toned down his laughter by breathing out. Then there was the question about love which made the smile stay on his face. "More than anything in this world.. No, she's here.. mostly anyway.." His smile faded at the end thinking about what happened, something he wanted to avoid, none of it was pleasant, which is also why he stopped there, not speaking further of it.

Damien's remark on Lucile was scary right, they were really close, more so than the average couple, they had both made their claim on each other and if anyone threatened that there would be severe consequences. He knew that it was meant as a joke but he was so much more right than he thought, so he played it off with a light chuckle. Then he spoke about himself again and Nicholas paid close attention to it, looking at his face as he talked. I tiny grin formed as he responded. "Just because you don't understand love now, does not mean that you never will, you already have the priorities straight. She has a background of torture to the day today, she never got close or met anyone before me, where our love formed and made us both understand. Same with me, i only loved one person when i was a child, but he died, and that was family, actual love was not something i understood until i met Lucile, even if i thought i did, i didn't. So don't worry, you will understand it when it arrives. As for your bad guy act, you are a good person, whether you see it or not. You could have killed me or have me be a slave several times and stopped me from fixing your wounds, but you didn't, and your bullshit excuses that you keep telling yourself are just that. I think you are actually scared of being good, thinking that you actually have no excuse for whatever you are doing. I have seen plenty of bad men... And believe me when i say it, you are not one of them.." He was serious as he said it, but there was no emotion about it either way, just a voice that was clear and neutral. In his career he had seen bad people, cruel people, evil people. At his clinic, in the war, important people in the city or just on the streets.

He had an open ear for what Damien commented on about his story and he was right, but he might have misunderstood his meaning, so he had to make that clear. "You are right about vampires, but that's more the older ones, and something i don't want to become. At some point they just accept what they are and start feeding on people because there is no other way, i can't have that." He said calmly, he had thought about this since the minute he had turned, scared that this would all be normal for him some day. "Youknow.. I was in such denial when i first found out what my creator had made me, when i finally realized it i refused to feed, i still didn't want anyone to suffer so that i could live. She is older than anyone i know so i understand that it is normal for her, but she promised me that i would feed off her, seeing as she volunteered and she was the one responsible i barely accepted. It made me feel better about the situation, but i know now that she had just taken it from some poor person. You see vampires can't feed on other vampires, but i didn't know that back then... so gullible.." He was speaking like it was coming straight from his thoughts, just looking out into the room as he spoke. The actual events was only a few weeks ago, but it was so clear to him, every part of it, the pain of changing, of dying. Even thought she had put him through all that, he didn't blame her, he had even developed a relationship with her, something he couldn't put into words, just a feeling that was there.

"You asked me if i blame myself for my nature, i do. Don't misunderstand me, i know I'm not a bad person, i have good intentions and help those i can, but people that i am responsible for keep dying, same goes for the people i love, bad things happen to them all the time. Yes, my new form requires me to feed on creatures to survive, that does not mean i should do it. There are alternatives, i will never be satisfied but i will survive, i can live with that, this way i can carry on without spreading much misery. Me getting out of control like i did on her.. on you, is not something that makes me a bad person, but it makes me bad, does that make sense? She is the most important thing in my life, so i should have some damn control around her, despite what i am." He was starting to get frustrated at himself so he stopped, leaving it as it were. This was not a pity party, and it was just to make him understand, getting angry at himself was something he could do in his private time, no need to drag others into that.

When Damien started to talk about his ability he leaned forward again, looking at him with focused eyes, paying close attention to everything he said. As he explained how it worked it was pretty much as he expected, from a medical perspective at least, very interesting and powerful. But he did have one question that he could not guess with his medical knowledge. "The victim, are the awake during the entirety of it? Is their mind free to think as they please? Or is it like a coma state where they don't remember the events?" He said with a curious voice, that was pretty much what he was missing about the ability. But seeing as he heard the second part as well he continued after the questions. "Well that explains a lot, the reason your head is a mess is because you keep messing around with it. The reason whoever you are seeing is walking around here is because you are the one dragging her out, making her alive, and for what? so that you can get a slave? Is that really worth it? Living a hellish life so that you can get a fancy house and some nice stuff once in a while? As a doctor and I'd like to say friend, i really suggest you stop using it, and focus on getting over the past.. Don't let it control you, you are the one in control, never forget that. The girl walking around here has no control over you, she only has the power you give her.. But it's not my place to tell you what to do.. You are in charge of your own life, i just hope you try to take care of it." He tried keeping a serious and convincing tone, but ultimately it was up to himself if he even wanted to get better. But despite that he still wanted him to take care of himself, he was a good guy, and that was something that this world needed, he was even starting to see him as a friend, despite that he could become his slave at any moment. It was hard to see what he truly wanted, but he was going to help him if he needed it, he was a lost soul, needing friends or at least someone to talk to that wasn't forced to listen to him.

You alright there pal?.. - Damien Empty Sv: You alright there pal?.. - Damien

Indlæg af Gæst Tirs 11 Apr 2017 - 0:26

Speaking of love. Damien listened to him and many times he wanted to stop him. But he let him speak, maybe the more he listened to him, the closer he would come to understand him – Right? He rubbed his eyes when Nicholas called him a good person. How he hated that. Being called something he clearly wasn’t. He let his anger pass, there was no reason to ruin the conversation they were having. Because it was nice, having a conversation that wasn’t forced. Someone who actually wasn’t fleeing or trying to attack him. Something in him felt good about this whole thing. That’s why he was keeping his ability on the lowest, trying not to control Nicholas at all.
Then the conversation changed and they were talking about Nicholas. So for now, he was out of the focus, making him feel more comfortable about the conversation. He listened to him and nodded once in a while to signal that he was listening and understanding. When he called himself gullible, Damien chuckled. “You make it sound like a bad thing… Isn’t gullible the reason we believe in goodness to begin with? We assume that the man we pass down the street is a good fella. Or that the lady on the street isn’t secretly planning on stealing her husband’s fortune. In the end, all these things are assumptions, us being gullible to believe that these people have no ill will.” He then said, shaking his head as he leaned back in the sofa and exhaled softly.
As Nicholas spoke further about his nature, how he fed on her. Damien sat up again, looking at him with a curious expression. “Did you bite her because you were too hungry or because she volunteered and you didn’t want to? She sounds like the type of person who’d do that… Self sacrifice. Such a funny thing. Thinking that you can stay in control of it all. I mean, I can. But I’m not driven by hunger…” he then said, knowing it was straying from the point because he noticed how Nicholas didn’t seem to want to dig further in it, so he instead said something else. “But let’s keep it at that.
When he asked further about the mind of the victim, Damien scratched his neck. “Well. They remember. They remember everything I’ve made them do and they feel it. Don’t you remember how I made your body move, completely out of your control? Most of my victims seek revenge afterwards… With good reason.” He then explained as a small grin formed on his face. He had had many fights with former victims, which usually ended up in hum winning anyway. Because if they didn’t die from being in his control, they would be exhausted to the point where fights were easy. Too weak to function. It was funny what their build up anger could make them do.
But then he started to try and reason with him. Somehow instead of having the intended effect, it did the completely opposite. Damien felt a slight wave of anger run through him, because what Nicholas said, made no sense to him at all. “Show me this good person that you see in me. ‘Cause I do not see him. And you know why? Because he doesn’t exist. He left through a door made of torture and resentment. Too broken... broken...” He then remarked as he stood up from the sofa with an odd look in his eyes. He stared at Nicholas shortly before he turned to walk over to the door, opening it. Shortly after, a man that had clearly been in Damien’s care for a long time, judging by the healed wounds on his body and the dead eyes staring at nothing, yet walking with purpose. The man stopped in front of Nicholas before Damien tilted his head.
This could be you. It still can. You have my blood in your system and it won’t leave before a few hours have passed. If I wanted, I could keep feeding you the blood. I might. I can change my mind so easily. It’s like a flipping-coin in my head, deciding everything I do.” He then explained as his head started hurting once again. He exhaled deeply as she started coming back. He just stared angrily at her as she waved at him before he trampled over to Nicholas, pulling his sleeve up as he stared at her.
He held out his arm to Nicholas but his mind was fixated on her. He was going to show her who was in control – Him. He turned his gaze to Nicholas before commanding. “Bite. Then Drink.” The girl from his mind started clapping her hands at him with a big smile on her face. “Good boy. You’re surely gonna show him!” with an ecstatic tone. Damien looked at Nicholas before pinching his eyes. “You can hear me. You’re awake. You’ll remember this. I don’t care if you forgive me. This is what I am. I will never change. I'm not like your girl. If she's as broken as I am, it's only luck that love could reach into her and change who she was. But I bet she has a taste for the dark. We all do. Us broken people. Love doesn't affect me. I wont change, not for love, definitely never for love. I can’t love.” He then said.

You alright there pal?.. - Damien Empty Sv: You alright there pal?.. - Damien

Indlæg af Gæst Tirs 11 Apr 2017 - 4:37

The little speech he gave about being gullible actually made sense to him, you were trusting someone with no information backing you up. That was pretty gullible, and it had already been proved many times during his life. "I suppose you're right about that." He said calmly as he thought about it.
But then he continued the topic about Lucile and it almost made him angry, but it wasn't placed at Damien. It was just that it seemed like he was trying to justify what he did to her, which in his mind wouldn't be possible to do. But he did appreciate what he was doing, trying to make him feel better, or at least showing that he cared, or at the very least interested. " Does that matter? As long as i can't control it, i shouldn't be near her neck, whether she volunteers or not." He says with a frustrated voice, it felt like he was talking to both Damien and himself at the same time.
After leaning back in to the sofa and a sigh left his mouth, he looks down at the floor while thinking back. "But yeah... She volunteered.." He said with a calm tone, with a smile almost forming on his face. What she did was a super sweet thing to do, and he did really appreciate it, the only thing he hated was the fact that he took advantage of it.

He listened to what he said about the ability and it did make sense, he remembered what he made him do, but he wasn't under the influence for long, yet anyway. People seeking revenge was inevitable, this world was filled with people who couldn't see past their own little life. Whatever happened that night would be forgiven, there was nothing he could do to change that. Because he knew he was a good person, even if it was buried.
And speaking of, he got upset when he disagreed with him being a good person. He let him finish talking and when Damien got up from the sofa he stared into his eyes until he walked off. "There is no such thing as too broken Damien." He said with a raised voice as he was walking towards the door, making sure he heard it.

Then he opened the door and the person coming in was clearly under Damien's ability, at least that was what he assumed seeing as he gave off the signs. Then the man stopped in front of him, making Nicholas take a good look at him, the dead eyes, the emotionless face, a sad fate for whoever it was. When Damien warned him of what could happen to him, how everything could change in a matter of seconds, it got him thinking, but the faith placed with him was still there. "You could yes, but you're not going to are you? Just because the goodness in you is not present, doesn't mean its gone forever, it has not left you Damien, its only buried.." His voice was sad as it was not fun listening to how he was struggling with this.

As Damien walks over to him, pulling his sleeve up as he approaches, he knows what he is going to do. This would make things a whole lot worse for both of them, but of course Damien had all the power so there was no resisting it. He is commanded to drink his blood so that's what he did, he sank his teeth in his arm, swallowing his warm blood until he is allowed to stop. He doesn't wipe his mouth, leaving the remaining blood on his lips as a reminder for Damien. He leans back into the sofa and looks at him. "Who are you trying to convince Damien? Me or yourself? You are wrong, luck has nothing to do with Love. You are what you yourself want to be, if you want to stay as broken as you say you are, then that's what you will be. Change starts with yourself, when you realize that the sooner you'll get out of this. And as for Love, you would be surprised to how powerful that is, because Love conquers all.." He voice is calm and collected, as if nothing happened, he can't give off anything making Damien think he is right about being a bad person.
How this was going to play out was very uncertain, did he make him drink his blood because he had something in mind? Or was that just to prove his point? It was too soon to tell, but he had a feeling he was going to stay there for a while longer, whether it was forced or not.

// sry didn't give you anything to work with for this one :c

You alright there pal?.. - Damien Empty Sv: You alright there pal?.. - Damien

No such thing as too broken? Had he just been oblivious to anything that had happened to him within the hour? Damien shook his head in disbelief, this guy actually believed that there was some good left in him. It was almost tragic, but in the end he wasn’t sure which of them were the real human here. Maybe it would be better if they had switched race, right? Even being a young vampire, no vampire would ever be as empathetic and human like this one seemed to be. It was annoying Damien the more he thought about it, and he couldn’t just stop thinking about it.
When Damien commanded him to stop, he wanted to hear what he had to say. So instead of keeping him in a trance like he normally would, he let Nicholas speak freely once again. He noticed how Nicholas didn’t wipe his mouth which made him grin widely. As if it would affect Damien in any way that his blood was still lingering on the lips of a vampire. He grabs a roll of cloth and wraps the wound in, just enough to stop any sort of bleeding. He never cared much for scars, his whole body was the embodiment of them anyway. His glance then went to his former slave. Such a bore, they always started becoming weaker as their minds gave up on their bodies, making them empty shells. Damien was tired of it. He tilted his head and pinched his eyes, before the slave suddenly grasped his own face and with a loud nerve wrecking crack, snapped his own neck.
He sat back down at the couch and spread his arms out at the back of the sofa as he crossed his legs, keeping the satisfied grin on his face. He listened to Nicholas speak, maybe what he said would make sense to Damien some day. But these words were like the words of a madman. “I don’t need to convince anyone. I don’t try to hide from what I have become. Look at yourself, vampire. Starving yourself because you won’t accept your true nature. What you’re made into. We’re so different you and I. I have accepted what I am.” He then explained with an expressionless face, but there was no doubt in his voice.
Not once would Damien ever think of himself as good, because he knew who he was and what he had done. He rubbed his cheek at the talk about love. “Love… Love love LOVE.” He then exclaimed as he got up and flipped the small table at the sofa, breaking several expensive decorations – Which had no meaning to him anyway. He stared at Nicholas with a fury in his eyes. “Love is this magic touch, the feeling of liking the way someone touches your neck, how their being makes you warm and fuzzy inside – Love is a fucking JOKE.” He then started, first talking in a rather sarcastic tone that gradually turned into a furious scream.
He was so filled up with anger because of his talk of love. He trampled over to his dinner table, smacking both hands in the table as he tried to collect himself. “You know what real power is? What actually conquers all? My ability. You know what I could do? I could make you do the unthinkable. Not even love, love couldn’t save you, love is weak, love ls weakness. My ability, your girl. I could make you rip her apart without even thinking about it. Because it’s true power.” He then said with anger. “Get up. Follow me.” He then commanded before he started walking out the living room – He had lost all taste for the room, at least for the time being.
Fucking love. A concept none of us truly understand, yet we speak of it as if it’s some sort of holy thing. But guess what, it’s fucking not. There are no happy endings. We all die at some fucking point unless we get to live the eternal great life of vampirism or lucky enough to be born into it. Even so – No happy ending.” He said furiously as he walked down the hall, having his ability to force Nicholas to comply and follow. All the scars on his throat was itching, all the people were talking in his mind, saying horrible things. He rubbed his eyes as he opened a big door, exposing a uttermost horrible room.
At the end of the room, a person was hanging in chains from the ceiling – Heavily beaten, barely breathing. Damien walked over to the person as he lifted her chin. She lifted her tired eyes to look at him before a wide tired grin spread on her lips. “Little boy. I knew you’d come back for me… You playtoys always come back to me..... ha... ha” she whispered hoarsely, before coughing up blood, clearly well beaten as starved. Damien let go of her chin before he looked at Nicholas, wiping the blood on his fingers off on Nicholas' coat. “I kept this one alive. She is alive. She is the one that also haunts my mind. While I’m out… challenging this stupid anger on something else, I’ll leave you two to it.
Before stepping out, he stopped as he was still in range of Nicholas. “This room will be your prison until I say so. You will stay behind these doors.” He commanded before exiting, closing the doors behind him.

You alright there pal?.. - Damien Empty Sv: You alright there pal?.. - Damien

Indlæg af Gæst Man 17 Apr 2017 - 2:20

He sees how Damien looked at the zombie standing in front of him, clearly talking to him, making him do something. But what happened after caught him by surprise, he expected some kind of show to prove his point, but he was not expecting a suicide right then and there. He sighs before talking. Then when he was done and Damien responded to him it was clear to him that he had completely given up on himself, as that wasn't transparent enough already. "So wasting that mans life, that was not to prove a point? Listen to yourself, you're not even living your own life, you are living the life they gave you. You talk as if you don't have a choice in what you do, like you are nothing but cogs and wheels. If things don't go your way then you you deal with it, you don't settle with it. I may be a blood sucker but i still.. my point is, you are the captain of your own ship, you are in charge of the destination." His calm tone was getting more agitated as Damien just refused to even think beyond his own barriers.

He saw and felt how angry he got by the word love, maybe because of frustration from never experiencing it? Or just the lack of understanding it maybe, it was hard to tell. Even as the table was flipped and the outbursts were getting worse, he remained calm, he had no problem with him letting out his anger. "You talk about love as if you understand it when you clearly don't. There is no sharper weapon than a tongue, and if you add love to that, it can make you do more things than this little ability of yours." He became more confident with his words, because not only had he experienced this himself, he had also seen it with his own eyes and read about it in the history books, how great minds suddenly changed everything for love.
His threat was noted, but he didn't show it, he couldn't show it to him, that would make it worse. "You really believe that?" He said with a sarcastic chuckle. But on the inside there was slight worry, the ability was powerful, and he had hurt her before just over hunger, so there was no way he would risk it if there was a chance of it happening.

He got up and followed Damien as he didn't have a choice in the matter anyway, listening to him talk just made him feel worse for him, he really believed what he was saying, there truly was no light in his life was there. "Who is us Damien? Because it seems to me like you are the one that don't understand it. It's not a holy thing because the gods have nothing to do with it, and it's not about a happy ending. Everyone dies at some point, whether its of old age or not, no one lives forever, you seem so fixated on the end when life is not about the end, it's about the road there. When you are old and frail, or just bleeding out in a ditch, looking back at the memories you have with you significant other. Everything you have experienced and felt together, what you have created, is that not a happy ending? If you are not planning on enjoying life then what's the point of living? The only good thing about what i am is that i can have more time with her, and that is what i live for." He realized that most of this, if not all of it would just fly right by Damien, but it felt good to say it out loud, it was like a reminder to himself to not give up, keep fighting.

When he opened the door a big room was revealed that reminded him of the room at Josette, that thought was quickly shaken away his he focused on a girl at the other end of the room. And as soon as she spoke he knew who she was, he had kept one of them alive, why he would do that was a very curious thought. Torture? Mercy? Or was it because he couldn't let go of the past? He had clearly been taking his anger out on her, that was clear, why were they here? Why did he show him this? So many questions running through his mind, but he kept his mouth shut and listened. When Damien left them there he looked back at him "Don't do anything stupid Damien, I get it, you don't have to prove anything anymore.." His voice was worried for him, he was clearly angry and what he said made him concerned for both Damien and whoever his victim was going to be.

When they were alone he focused his attention on the girl, looking her over, moving her face around and walking around her to check her for wounds. "So what's your name?" He could see she was severely beaten, she had been here a long time. "I would give you some of my blood, but I'm afraid it wouldn't do you any good.." He looks at the chains and restraints, seeing if there was a weak point or a way to get her loose. "Is there anything in here we can use? To both patch you up and set you free i mean." He started looking around, there was a lot of questions he had for her, but he had that nagging doctor in him that had to get her in a better condition before he pressed her for any information.

You alright there pal?.. - Damien Empty Sv: You alright there pal?.. - Damien

Indlæg af Gæst Tirs 25 Apr 2017 - 16:22

Damien listened to him as they walked and he shook his head. It was just blabber to him, because he didn’t understand. He never would. He looked at Nicholas with an angry frown on his face as they walked. “I should’ve told you to shut up and just follow me quietly. But I will show you, show you exactly why I am not a good person. You’ll see…. Eventually..” the last part being more of an angry mumble. Why did he have to prove his inhumanity to someone who was inhumane? Young vampire or not, he was still way more human than Damien would ever be.
When they entered the room, Damien was very displeased by the sight of his former captor. Something in him had hoped that she had withered away and all that would be hanging was bones and rotten flesh. But it seemed that he wasn’t that lucky, the bitch was still standing and clearly alive. He wasn’t going to stick around for chit-chatter, even though Nicholas’ words seemed to get to him. He wandered down the hall with angry steps before leaving the house.
The chained girl looked up at him with an expressionless face. She listened to him as he spoke, but as soon as he finished, she grinned widely with bloody teeth. “You think that he’d let you set me free? No wonder he managed to get a hold of your mind… So fragile… gullible too.” She said in a low hoarse voice. Then he laughed, a cackle mixed with coughing and teeth grinds. “Don’t bother looking for anything. Take a seat in the chair. There is nothing of use in this room.” She then said, pushing herself on her feet to finally relieve some pressure from her arms. It wasn’t very pleasant to hang in your arms day in and day out.
She looked at Nicholas and tilted her head. “Do you know why he keeps me alive? He doesn’t know. Well… Subconsciously, he does.” She started out, glancing between Nicholas and the door that Damien took his exit from. She couldn’t help but giggle, even though it was clearly hurting her. “And it doesn't even matter. He wouldn't believe you if you told him.. He doesn’t know… And too paranoid to trust anyone but him.. It’s so amazing. His ability is amazing, but he is the one being controlled…” she then said as her voice had started clearing up, getting used to talk again. There was also a slight excitement to find in her voice. She shook her head at her amusement.
You see. I have this neat little ability. I can link my soul to a person. If I die, their soul will consume mine, making me a part of them… Have you seen him talk to my fragment? It really freaks him out. I can see how he still fears me, even now, in this very room with us before. But of course it can be broken, but it’s very complicated and even a vampire like you wouldn’t be able to break it. My death, seals the deal.” She then said with the bloody grin growing wider on her face. Her legs started shaking, as malnourished as she was, her only options were attempting to stand on legs that had no muscle left or hang from her arms – Yet the second option always seemed to be the winner.
She fell down, clenching her teeth as her wrists were challenged by her weight. The good thing about the malnourishing part was that she didn’t have much weight to carry. It was way worse the first couple of days. “So… vampire. Tell me about yourself.” She said tiredly as she leaned towards him, putting more weight on her wrists than was good for her. Then she smirked and tilted her head. “And clean the blood off your face. It’s like you’re mocking my restraints.” She then said before turning back to hanging off her wrists.

You alright there pal?.. - Damien Empty Sv: You alright there pal?.. - Damien

Indlæg af Gæst Ons 26 Apr 2017 - 4:16

He didn't expect any response from Damien, he had clearly had enough of him, hence why he was now being taken somewhere, either to be locket up or proven a point. All he could hope for was that the words would stick in his mind for him to think about, ponder over. For all he knew Damien would agree with him after some time alone to think everything over, he knew Damien was a good person, so there had to be only a matter of time before he knew it himself.
As he looked the girl over he was really missing his healing ability, she was seriously wounded, but nothing that would kill her, meaning his ability would be able to heal everything expect for her malnutritioned and weak body. But that was gone, probably for good too seeing as it happened when he changed. He had to rely on medical equipment to help her, but the chances of anything like that being in this room had to be slim. The only reason for Damien to keep medical supplies in this room would be to stitch her back up if he went to far, so that he could keep her alive. Looking at her body however didn't reveal any indication of stitching, bandaging or the like, not that he could see at least. But that didn't stop him from looking around the room as she spoke to him. "That's true, i am both fragile and gullible, that's how i went from doctor to vampire to killer. Nevertheless i have faith in him, he wont do anything to me." He said as he thought out loud while still looking around.
In truth he had no idea if Damien would actually do anything to him, he was surprised to see the demon who had tortured him being alive. But it didn't faze him, when thinking about it it made sense. He was clinging to the past, its who he was, nothing more than the result of what the demon made him, he had nothing else, nobody else but her. So if she were to die and disappear, what would he have left? He would be alone in this world, with nobody understanding what he went through or how he felt.
As she told him looking for something to help would be pointless he looked back at her with a curious yet suspicious face. She was the one being held here, so she would know, it was doubtful she wanted to stay there so why lie about it. He walked over to her as she stood up, standing next to the chair with his arms crossed, more focused on her body than her face.

As she was speaking he did listen to her, but his eyes went from wound to wound, looking for the worst ones, he was silent, taking in her information while gathering his own. Her giggle got him distracted from checking her over, the way she just had to act, now and especially when Damien was around. Acting all tough and in charge of the situation, she was strong and it was clearly working on Damien, but could she really be like that on the inside too? Or was she the opposite? What about when she was alone? Her telling him that she was the one controlling him was not a shock to Nicholas, he knew that, but it turned out that it was more to it than he thought. He knew she was on Damien's mind a lot, making his life miserable, but he thought it was all in his head, his memories and psyche. So when she told him that she was actually fused with his soul it left him pretty speechless, looking back up at her with a curious expression. It reminded him of Lucile and Lucy, it was far from the same thing but it was similar enough. He didn't care if Damien didn't believe what he could say to him, there was no point in telling him, it wouldn't change anything, not unless they knew a way to break it.

"Your death seals the deal huh.." He said faintly to himself as he had started walking back and forth slowly, thinking about the situation. Then he stops and looks back at her after getting some rather dark thoughts in his mind, nothing he would act upon of course, but information was key at this point. "What about his death? What happens if he dies?" He looks her in the eyes as he said it, his own expression was pretty much dead like his eyes, he was in his mind, trying to figure this out.
As she fell down it snapped him out of the thought process and made the doctor come out again. He was quickly by her side as she fell, moving his hands around her to check for sprains or new wounds around the wrists. "Be more careful, if you can't stand just tell me, I'll help you.." He says almost like he was lecturing someone for something they had done. He steps back a bit and takes off his coat, placing it on the chair as he rips off the sleeve on his left arm and ties it around a big wound on her thigh he had been eyeing earlier. "How long have you been here like this?" His voice has changed to a more concerned tone as he realizes how badly injured she really was. He then rips off his other sleeve and ties that around a more open wound on her arm, hoping it will avoid infection after being roughly patched up. Then he grabs the coat and throws it around her back, covering as much as he can while making sure it stays on her. "It's not much but hopefully it feels a bit better for now" The little things he did would not change anything, maybe make her more comfortable but the wounds needed to be treated properly.
When she asked him about himself he didn't see it coming, sure they were trapped here together for who knows how long, but he taking an interest in him was unlikely. He slides the chair over to her "Here, you may not reach the seat but you can probably sit on the back, maybe it will relive your wrist from some pressure" He gives her the choice seeing as she would be the best judge of what was more comfortable in her position. "Oh right, i already forgot about that.." He says with a cracked smile as he wipes his mouth with his upper shirt as he didn't have any sleeves. "Whats to tell that i didn't already mention? Been a doctor all my life, tried to help as many as possible. Gullible as i am i try to see the best in everyone, which made me into this, and into one of Damien's slaves.." He wasn't sure why she was interested in his life, if she was fishing for something, or if she was just passing the time. It had to be lonely being locked up in this room alone for as long as she had been here.

A thought sparked as they talked. "How about we make a deal? You tell me how to break this fuse you have with Damien. And i give you my word i will get you out of this room alive" He asked with a curious tone. She didn't know him, but when he made a promise he did everything in his power to fulfill it. He was going to make sure she was getting out of this alive either way, but he couldn't say that, it would give away his only bargaining. If there was a way to get her out alive and help Damien with his mind then he had to do everything he could to make that happen.
