The child (poem)

The child (poem)
Children are the light of life.
They are the divine angels
on their crusade of innocents
toddling through our world
who is sick by bungled lunatic.
she was still innocent as a little child
The darkness of the world's insanity
is trying to smash through the child's pureness.
Destroying the dreams of hope.
Now they are like shattered dreams
she was still innocent as a little child
The darkness around the little girl
is focing her to grow up.
To loose her childlike eyes on the world.
Loosing her innocents, it is like
an angel's lost of it's wings.
she was still innocent as a little child
Even when she was cast out
kicked out like a bad dog.
She kept on moving, kept on smiling
and doing all the childlike things.
she was still innocent as a little child
Luckily she never died by the cruel things 'cause.
one part of her, who grew up.
Grown up by the worlds insanity, trying to keep living.
But still she had her inner child, who would never let go.
Who never want to be grown up
she was still innocent as a little child
But then the unthinkable happend.
Normally all would either be a child or grow up
But she found the perfect balance.
To keep the innocents eyes on the world,
but still have the common sense
she was still innocent as a little child
