Sv: What the void brings w. Evaline
Atleast he only talked, instead of forcing him down, from her back. She walked and walked, the pain flew through her leg and back, making her body scream. Asking and begging for her to give up, she wouldn't stop. He did help her, and kept talking about how he tried helping her when she was in her fox form, to show him that she had other roads to follow. Tho she wouldn't really listen to him, why should she. Her village were nice, they were loyal. If you once helped one of them, all of them would help you, even if you wouldn't like it.
When she cleaned his wounds, he started talking about what was killing him. When he pointed at his chest, she opened his shirt and took it off of him. He had internal bleedings. At least she knew what to do, when she had the tools. She looked around, as she now remembered she had left the sword with the body. She slapped her forehead in anger, she could have used that shit!
She placed her hand on his chest, as she looked at it, she was feeling the wound. Seeing how much the beast had broken inside of him. "I have to cut you..." She said with a low voice, she ripped the shirt into pieces as she started soaking them in the lake. Fire flies had appeared, which made her lips form a small smile. Slowly she found a stick, where she started cutting it with a rock. Whatever she could find, would be fine. She turned towards him, as she looked at him. "It's alright, i think..." She answered, even tho she knew he wasn't speaking to her.
She placed her hand on his chest again, as she looked into his eyes. "This.. Ga... This will hurt a lot." She spoke with a painful voice, but had forced a kind smile on her lips. As she pressed the sharp stick into his flesh, until she had hit the place, where the bleeding was. She placed the soaked shirt on his chest, so it could at least stop the bleeding in time. She started checking for other wounds, on his body. Everything should be fine right now, she just had to stay awake. Take care of the wounds, until morning at the very least. If she left him, a wolf could get here, or another one of those monsters. She would hold the last peace of his shirt up, to cover her upper body a bit. "Fireflies... heh... i haven't seen them in forever.." The pain in her back, forced her to sit with a straight status.

He woke afterwards. Time had passed. How long? He was lying down on his back. He could hear the water near by. She tied your wounds and cut your chest. I thought she was going to skin you! Then she stopped. Logic's voice rang in his head.
"What?" He whispered with a raspy voice. "How do you even know that? I was... I was not awake! How could... How?"
I have eyes, you know! Logic answered, sounding offended.
"No you don't." Rowan replied and tried to sit.
It's a figure of speech. Logic replied cheerfully, clearly proud of that statement.
Rowan tried to sit again, but the pain was immense. A shirt was presses against his chest. He tried to remove it, but with his lack of strength, it took a while. Once the cloth was removed, it was revealed that Logic had been right. She had cut him. Probably to release the bleeding. It didn't change anything. He was still bleeding into his organs and - he coughed - his left lung was almost full of blood it seemed. That would explain why he was almost out of breath. He forced himself to lie on the left side of his body.
Why do you do that? Logic asked curiously.
"It's so that... The blood will... Leave my body and not enter... My other lung." He said between breaths. His right lung was undoubtedly already full of blood. He could almost feel it.
"Ev..a..line?" He gasped. He couldn't move. Couldn't see her.
Her name is like Caroline's! Logic exclaimed.
Yes.
Do you think they know each other? Logic asked.
No.
Why not? They might know each other! You should ask once you're done dying. Logic clearly did not understand death.
He grunted with annoyance and tried to position himself so that he could lie on his side without feeling too much pain. Without putting too much pressure on his heart.
"Evaline... My heart is..." He groan. "Pain. I think..."
There's a bone sticking into it. That's why it hurts when it beats. Looks painful. Is that what is killing you? Rowan gasped trying to fight another cough.
How do you even know these things? He was so tired. It was raining. He hadn't noticed.
How don't you know? It's your body after all! Logic replied. Good point.
( I don't know... I'm thinking his werewolf-healing will save him, so he will need to be still for a long time :p I can just have him pass out and leave him here - he won't freeze or anything. He might starve though. I honestly haven't thought any of this through xD )

She looked at her leg, the blood had slowly started to harden around the wound. W-Why did she even help him, he was about to leave her. She growled for herself, while staring at the fireflies. She didn't have anything to close her own wounds, but they shouldn't be as dangerous as his. Then again she was use to fighting against death, so it shouldn't kill her. Not right now, she turned her head towards him. Sleeping should be the best medicin right now, maybe she should find something to eat, but could she even get it? Rain started falling once again, while she started cleaning the pieces of cloth she had used to stop the bleedings.
She bended over him, moving closer to his lips with her ear, so she could feel his breath. He were alive, the smell of blood had made her dizzy. If she could... She shook her head, while looking down at him. "Why didn't you run stupid... Not that i could've survived without you there." She moved towards his lips, only to place a soft kiss on them. Before forcing herself away from him, she slapped her cheeks. "IDIOT!" She told herself, before getting up.
She could at least take a bath in the lake, that would clean her wounds and she could keep an eye out for wild animals, that might attack them.
She threw the pants over him, it could warm his body a little bit at least. She walked towards the water, as it felt rather nice against her skin. It was cold, but nice, somehow relaxing her skin. She looked back at him, as she walked out - till the water were covering her shoulders. Slowly she dived under the water, pushing her hair behind her ears and away from her face. She looked at him, as he turned around? At least it told her, he was still alive. She looked around her, looking for danger.
((Well, she will stay with him, untill his better... might for two night, where she will follow him home, and then leave him?))

"Please be quiet." Rowan groaned as he slowly opened his eyes.
I am a bird! Logic replied.
"No you're not. Why am I so cold? Where am I?" He asked softly, his voice ragged, rasp and full of pain.
Well I could be! And how should I know? I was busy being a bird! That thing made no sense. He remembered calling for Evaline. Had she replied? Had she left him? He wouldn't blame her. He honestly had no idea, how he was still alive.
"Where is she?" He asked. He found it easier to talk out loud when communicating with Logic. It didn't seem to mind. "Is she hurt?"
She is hurt, yes. Hum, I don't know where she went. I think she tried to eat you last night though.
He forced his eyes up all the way and watched the clear blue sky above him. He felt so cold. He still somehow lay on his side. The muddy earth around him was maroon - deep red. Stained by his blood. The pain was surreal. How long had he slept?
"Evaline?" He whispered, hardly able to hear himself. He took a deep sharp breath and watched his chest. It looked horrible. "I need to fix my ribs. I think... I think I need to somehow lift my broken bones." He gasped. Who was he even talking to? Wasn't he alone? "I need them to heal correctly. Maybe... Hum..." He tried to sit but had to give up on that idea.
You could Lash them. The idea wasn't bad. Lashing something that small and even attached to himself might be a good plan. "I can keep powering it. And it would not get in the way of the healing... But I've never..." He paused. Who cared? He had no choice. He took another deep breath.
"GAAAAAAHHH!" It was... Unbearable! Lashing was a great idea but also a horrible idea. He simply made his ribs 'fall' back into place - wherever that was - and not only did he have to do that for every bone, but he also had to do it to every fragment that had broken off. That meant having broken bones push against swollen and possibly infected flesh. He passed out briefly several times.
"I must do it. I must!" He gasped in between breaths. "Goddess forgive me." Moving the rib, that had manages to break all the way through his lung and into his heart, was far the most painful. Tears were streaming down his face. No sound left his mouth. He felt stunned. His magic was powerful but he was not 'steady handed'. One wrong move would kill him! And considering that he needed to touch the object he was Lashing... Well... Forcing his fingers into his bloody chest was far from pleasant. He gave up after a few tries. You will die if you don't do it...
"Evaline," he cried out. "Where are you? I need you! I... I'm af..." Afraid. He didn't want to die, he realized. The sun was above him, but somehow... Somehow it was getting darker again. And colder... He passed out again...
( Lets skip a few days ahead then? :) )

She turned her head towards him, nothing was around him. Was the pain really that great, that he had to scream. She once saw a man screaming in pain every day and every night, they had to kill him in the end. But this man had been burned, his whole body was covered in melted skin and scares, he could no longer feel his own body only the pain. She ran towards Rowan, ignoring the pain. Tho falling a few times in the water, cause of the freaking pain!
She ended up next to him, where she dropped down and placed her hands on his cheeks. "What is it! Where does it hurt! Here!?" She placed her hand softly on his chest, the stab she had done on him. She turned her eyes towards him, filled with fear she opened her mouth again. "No no no! Dont pass out! Where does it hurt!? Rowan!" She checked for his puls, as she moved closer towards his lips. He was still breathing, but... The pain, where was it... She.. God damn it! She had to leave him, just to find some healing plants, maybe some that could reduce the pain a bit. She would bite her lower lip, as she noded for herself. She slowly stood up, only to get the pants on and then find it.
two days went, where she had been taking care of him. She had started a fire close to him, to keep him warm, used leafs and the clothes to keep the wound from getting infected. She used some powered from plants, that reduced the pain quiet nicely. As it also helped to heal him, or atleast the wounds. She couldn't do much to him, the bones inside of him, had to heal on its own. At least, it seemed like he had moved the bones back. So now it only had to heal.
She on the other hand, totally forgot about her own wounds. As she had to find food, firewood and fight against creatures in the night, that would like the meat she had fought for. Which had made her wounds on her back even worse. Her leg on the other hand, had gotten infected. She had wrapped some of the left over clothes around it, so she couldn't see how bad it had gotten.
Every night and morning, she would force him to eat soup, she couldn't really make him eat the meat at all. So this had to do, she was cooking meat for herself this time, two birds this time. She had gotten lucky.
((there i skipped a beat in time!))

It used to go 'dun dun dun' but now it goes 'dun ba-dun dun'. Why is that? Rowan smiled. He had actually grown quite fond of his strange Logic.
"I don't know for sure," he whispered. He watched Evaline cook. "I think maybe it is because the heart is torn. In pieces, you know?" It seemed like Evaline didn't mind that he had started talking to himself. She probably thought he was crazy - he did. He had to be crazy. But he wad alive.
"She saved me.." He mumbled after a while in silence. "I told her to run but she didn't. And now she saved me. Maybe I really am weak..." He sighed and forced himself to sit.
"Evaline!" He said, this time loud enough for her to hear. "We can't stay here. It's too dangerous. I want a surgeon to look at your leg. We need to go to Doomsville." His voice was calm and stronger than he had expected. "But we can't walk. I can't, at least. Not far from the forest, there is a horse-breeder. Stables. You need to go buy us a horse or two." He said. Could she walk? Their lives depended on it. He started shuffling around trying to find... Ah, there it was! A small pouch of coins. There should be enough. There had to be. He threw it at her. "Please." He said. He was worried. Every night he feared that another Beast would come back. They would come. He just knew it. They had to leave.

She tied him down, help him with whatever he asked, but whenever he closed his eyes, she would find something to eat, for the next day or look at her wound. Which seriously had to be taken care of sooner or later, she shook her head and looked at his sleeping face. That could wait, when he was better and could get home, she could take care of herself. She sighed and leaned back against the tree, only to feel the pain in her back, causing her to sleep on her stomach whenever she got to sleep.
She turned the meat around, as she stared at the flames. Rowan would always mumble for himself, which had caused her to ignore him when he whispered. Tho once in a while she listened to what he whispered, just for fun. Sometimes it was rather amusing for her to listen to, and not only that, it calmed her down. She sighed, when he suddenly said her name in a loud voice. Which caused her to make a little jump, She turned her head towards him - Slowly tilting her head to the side. "Don't worry, i'll save you." She said, as she lifted the meat away from the flames.
"Do not fear for your life, I saved you once from a wolf, i can do it again... And..." She looked down at her injured leg. "My legs fine, don't think about it." Her voice had lowered itself, mostly because she lied. One of her bad habits, whenever she lied, she spoke with a low voice.
When he asked her to find this so called horse breeder, she shook her head. "I don't know how fare that is, and i might be walking slow... If a wolf attacks you, you can't defend yourself." She slowly moved towards him, putting the meat close to his lips, as a offer. "But... i could carry you again, i think... Then you could tell me the way, and yea..." She grabbed the little back of coins, as she sighed once again. Why would he have her to leave, it was more dangerous for him than her.

She looks sick. Noted Logic. Rowan agreed. We can't let her go. She will die. Then you will die. I need you to not die again. The werewolf frowned at Logic's words. Again?
"No. You're right. We should go together." He said, voice trembling. The pain was unbearable. He sighed and forced himself to sit up straight and remain there.
"But you can't carry me. I won't let you." His voice was firm. He clearly didn't want to discus it. "I can turn into a wolf. I will be... Stronger and feel less pain." He hesitated. "I can also support you with your leg." His werewolf form rarely helped people or carried them. But he had to try. They couldn't stay.
"We leave as soon as you're ready." He said firmly, and accepted her food with a smile. He was hungry and would eat mostly anything. And so he did.

She just noded, not saying a word against him. If the wolf didn't want to attack him, then cool. But it wanted they're food, which she had fought for. It could suck it up, and find something else! Stupid wolf, she thought for herself. While her eyes studied her leg.
Her skin had turned white, no wonder. She lost a lot of blood, and everything she moved around, and fought against stuff, the wounds didn't do anything but open again. Even when she didn't have to fight, she still had to get water, boil the water and wait until it had cooled down again, so they had some clean water to drink. She never really sat still, always had something to do. Which only made her body weaker and weaker, she could feel it. But since she still had some energy left, and only felt pain, she wouldn't turn into a fox.
He pushed the food away, which made her take some of the meat. Well, he would properly want some later. "No.. You're not able to walk, i do it myself... if i really have to." She spoke with a low voice, as she sighed calmly. "I will hurry back, but... You can't really lay here, something might attack you." She looked around, as she sighed. "I could cover you with leafs?" She slowly gazed into his eyes, where she pulled herself up.
The pain in the leg, made her drop down. She stared at the grass, before laughing nervously. "I thought i saw a snake." Yup, an excuse for falling to the ground in pain. She pulled herself up, once again. Her leg was shaking in pain, while she slowly moved her legs."I'll be back, leaves are around you... I believe you can pull them over you."She spoke with a calm, then again weak voice.
Of course she left him there, she wouldn''t let him walk around, he were injured. Properly not as much as her right now, but since it were from the inside, she felt like, he was dying no matter what. Somehow, she didn't want him to die, she didn't know him. But he did help her when she were a fox, not only that, he might be annoying, weak, mean, rude etc. But atleast he smiled once in a while, and tried to be nice towards her.
She got back after 30 minutes, she only had one horse. "Sorry for the wait... it took a little longer getting there, than i thought." She jumped down, tho ended up falling to the ground. She cursed over and over again.
((its fine.. Sorry if i might jump a bit))

"No!" He exclaimed, with newfound power. "Evaline! Stop! Wait! Storms, woman! Get back here!" She wasn't listening - either she was going deaf, or this insufferably stubborn woman ignored him. The latter was undoubtably the truth. He grit his teeth in annoyance and turned to watch her disappear in the forest. She had rejected his idea and wandered off alone. For a while, he tried to accept the current situation. Sitting here - finally actually sitting - made him realize that if Evaline chose to leave him, then he would certainly die. And if her leg and back was as bad as he thought, then she would undoubtably die if she spent too much time running around. He sat there waiting for a while; after 10 minutes time, he screamed loudly in annoyance and pain, as he forced himself to stand.
The wound on his chest didn't look good. He had planned to simply kneel by the small river, but he was clearly off balance and had in stead fallen into the cold water, landing flat on his chest with a loud groan. Somehow he had managed to soften the fall... And the chilled water was somewhat comforting. He had remained in the water for a while, until forcing himself to sit. The river passed over his legs, as he sat uncomfortably on the slippery rocks. He had removed the cloth, that had been tied around his chest wound. It really did look bad. The skin around the wound was purple and yellow. The flesh that showed, had an unnatural color and it smelled pretty horrific. It was without a doubt infected. The werewolf sighed loudly.
"Great..." he muttered as he watched his reflection. "So I might've actually survived having my chest crushed and my lungs pierced. But I will die to the infection that follows." He shook his head awaiting the reply. None came. He frowned. "You there?"
Who, me? Logic answered, sounding rather surprised.
"Well... yes."
Oh. I thought you'd prefer going back to my quiet old self. You're a hard man to please! Logic replied in its usual happy mood. The wolf sighed and got out of the river. His legs trembled beneath him, but he managed to get himself safely back to the patch of dry mud, that he had been sitting on for the past few days. He tied the cloth around his chest once again, to hide the wound from her. It was best if she did not know.
After what seemed to be forever - which was really a short time - she returned. The horse was clearly old, with droopy eyes and a gray mane. Rowan sighed and shook his head. Clearly it had been a mistake to send her.
"It's fine. Looks like a good horse. Thank you for going." he said and sent her a soft smile. She didn't look good. Maybe she should-- Rowan frowned as she fell. He moved closer, slowly, and tried to help her up. "You need to be careful. You're not well. Now... Evaline... Please you have to stop being so stubborn and strong all the time. You are going to kill yourself." He said softly, watching her with nervous eyes.
I have to take her back to Doomsville. I need a healer to take a look at her - at both of us! He grabbed the horse by the reins and pulled himself up on his feet. He then reached out his hand to Evaline. "Come. No time to waste here. This horse will take us back to Doomsville. There we can get medicine and treatment for our wounds." It wasn't far away; they could easily reach the city before the day was over.
"Get on the horse. I want you to sit in the front. And DON'T disobey me this time!" The last part was added with an icy voice. He hadn't forgotten how she had just left him there. She could've died!
"Evaline... I'm seriously running our of 'please's. Get on the horse and let's get to town. Just... make this easy for me for once, will you?"

Sv: What the void brings w. Evaline
Why would always complain! It annoyed her, first he wanted her to get the horse alone, then she couldn't go alone. God, why me?! She thought for herself, as she walked deeper and deeper into the forest.
Walking around in this condition, wasn't the smartest idea she had gotten. But atleast she got some alone time, tho it'd hurt quiet much - She kept a smile on her lips. She couldn't hear Rowans angry voice, nor could she be called a storming woman now. She shook her head softly, being alone was something she was use to. Being in pain, had slowly overcome her a bit, which made it into something that was just there. She sighed calmly.
She gazed upon the sky, feeling the air running through her hair. pushing it behind her shoulders, and brushing her soft skin. She placed her hand on her neck, as she turned her eyes against the ground. Should she be worried? He was alone, she just left him there. Could he even defend himself, what if one of those monsters apeared while she was gone, sure she couldn't win against it at all. But she could get him out of there, if she truly tried her best.
She shook her head once again, when she loosed her balance and fell head first, into the mud. "Freaking... Fucking, shitty, bitchy legs of mine!" She cursed in annoyance, when a man helped her to stand. No other than the horse breeder.
She stood with the horse, where she clearly could see, that he thought it was a mistake to send her. She growled a bit, before looking the other way. Why couldn't he just be happy to see her, she could've left him. She could've gone home, being there with everyone! She bit her lowerlip, as he send her a soft smile. He tried covering his thought about her, the thought about her being an annoying bitch, who couldn't get anything right. Who properly couldn't... She didn't really get to think about anything else, before she fell to the ground. Where he tried helping her up, she turned her head away from him.
His voice was for once soft, then again he gave her a command... "I won't get myself killed, start thinking about yourself instead of me." She turned her head towards him. "You're the one hurting more than me, you can't stand or walk well, which means your wounds are more hurtfull than mine, properly also alot more dangerous than mine. So think about yourself, instead of a storming woman, who can't even get a proper horse, for thee hurting man." Her voice slowly started sounding angry, as she turned her head towards him. How could this man, make her so angry all the time, she usually never made a frown, but this man!
YEA THIS MAN, he could make her frown, annoy her by his own frowns and the way he spoke to her.
She slowly got on her feet, where she stood up against a tree. While watching him, fighting to get up from the ground. "Doomsville... Like doom... It doesn't sound like a place, that could help at all." She raised an eyebrow, as she looked at his hand.
His voice then became more clear, more commander like. She grabbed his hand, before swinging her injured leg over the horse. She placed both her hands on the saddle, as she looked down. "Why shall i sit in front, don't you think i got the most balance? If you sat in front, i could support your balance a lot more. " She turned her head towards him, as the grey eyes for once showed coinsure.
How should she say this, sitting in front was always the ladies place on a horse, which made it a bit awkward for her. She had never been threaten as a female, nor had she been riding with someone else.
Just the thought of it, made her heart skip a beat a few times. Why did her heart complain now? She wasn't hurt there, or was she? No.. No, it was properly the annoyance from this man, that made her heart beat in a different way.

"Yes, I might be more hurt than you." he finally said, after a long while of silence. He didn't doubt the truth in those words; as was in constant pain, had lost more blood than he even dared to think about and the infection was eating his flesh away. The horse moved slowly and gently through the forest. Rowans main focus was on the surroundings - he wouldn't let anything surprise them again. "Regardless, if you die then I would die too. However if I died, you would still have a chance of survival. I don't want you to work yourself to death." It might've sounded egocentric, but Rowan truly believed, that she should survive no matter what. Either we both live, or she lives. Either way, she survives. That's all that matters. It was amazing what a few days in agonizing pain would do to your view of life.
Rowan wanted to keep the chitchat to a minimum, as they traveled through the forest. He explained briefly, that whatever it was that had attacked them, hadn't been the only one of its kind. There were undoubtably more in the woods, and he didn't want the Beasts to hear them. Better to ride in silence and stalk by unseen, he had said.
Rowan had assumed the horseback travel to only take half an hour; he had of course not realized that horses - much like people - disliked walking in uneven terrain. He hadn't really expected the creature to be this old and wary either. Hours passed where the only thing he could see, smell and hear, was the forest and its inhabitants. It had to be the right way, though. Could I be wrong? The sun was slowly setting, and the horse was growing tired. The werewolf grit his teeth, forcing it to keep moving. Then a miracle happened - he heard a sneeze! He quickly redirected the horse and in a matter of minutes, they passed a man, walking on a trail through the forest. Rowan knew this path, and a solid and confident smile settled on his lips. He greeted the man - who looked as if he had seen a ghost - and rode off towards Doomsville.
It only took about half an hour to get from the trail to the city. "Finally!" He groaned loudly. "We're here. Doom or not, it's good to be out of the forest." He laughed weakly at his own amusement, and had the horse trot in the direction of Angerforge District, where the city's only hospital was located. "We'll be at the healers soon enough." He told Evaline. He almost missed seeing her face; the back of her head wasn't that interesting after all. "How are you feeling?"
(Btw I assume that she just kept the creature's heart after cutting it out? If it was a "rank 3" beast, then it's a crystal heart. If you want to continue with the plot, then maybe she could investigate it or something?)

Sv: What the void brings w. Evaline
She closed her eyes and breathed out, while holding a firm grip on the saddle. Nothing would hurt more, than falling off this horse right now.
Her hair voberede her face a bit, as her beautiful eyes was suddenly hidden away by her hair. She at least thought her eyes was beautiful, people had a different veiw on beauty. Like, some was into fat people, others liked skinny girls and some liked the same gender. She wondered what Rowan was into, he did kiss her back whenever she kissed him, but that could either mean - That he was weak against the other sex, or that she was somehow his type? She shook the thought out of the head, as she glared down at the horses mane. What was her type anyway?
She moved a bit, when he suddenly answered her. Finally he answered, or.. at least he didn't ignore her completely. She separated her lips, as she wanted to talk. But stopped herself, as he spoke of death. So.. The only reason she had to survive, was so he could live. That was truly the reason why he kept her alive, she sighed softly, as she didn't say a word. The only reason he tried showing his concern for her, was mostly cause of himself. Cause he didn't want to die, that's why he didn't want her to leave before - How could she have thought any different, he didn't really care about her at all. He just wanted to live, and to live, was having her as a servant until he felt better. How disrespectful!
She clenched her fists as she didn't say a word, while they were riding. Maybe she was misunderstanding all of his words, but at the very least she didn't speak from her mind right now. She wondered... What if he got angry with her right now, would he push her off the horse and ride away? He could properly survive right now, now that he had a horse.
After a while, he started talking about the monster who attacked them. So they were more, and they really came from the crack in earth. Should she fear for her village, she shook her head once again. It were a village of fighters, they could do it better than her. They were more, and could easily kill one, or so she believed. She spoke with a soft voice once in a while, asking if he didn't have anyone now, only the kid. Or if living with a kid wasn't like a nightmare, she just never got to understand it. Of course she liked kids, but they did frighten her a bit. They were so innocent, couldn't fight at all and people cared way too much for them. Kids really had a lot of power in this world.
After hours had went past them, she started making unpleasent noises in boredom. She whined like a dog, and petted the horse once in a while. This took forever, were they lost? Maybe she should ask him, or.. what if they were, and he would get annoyed by her asking.
She looked to the side, as he suddenly started riding towards the sneeze. Wasn't that dangerous, could he be sure, that he didn't ride directly into a trap, maybe thief's or worse? Once again she separated her lips from eachother, but stopped when she noticed the old man. A short smile appeared on her red lips. She yawned, when they finally were in Doomsville.
As he suddenly groaned, she lifted her head a bit. "I like the forest, the nature and the silent's " She spoke with a low voice, of course she like the nature. It was basically her home, her life or what so ever. She sighed calmly as he laughed a bit. "I'm feeling a bit tired, and like i'm gonna throw up right now." She looked around her, as people were stopping to look at them. Did they look weird towards them?! She frowned, when she suddenly looked down at herself. Oh yea, she had used their shirts for the wounds, and had only a little bit of cloth covering her.. Yea, it didn't really cover anything but her nipples... She blushed a bit, and turned her head down.
Once again, she hated the cities.
((Sure, they could))

"If you want then you can lean back against me a bit. Maybe you can get some rest. It will take a while to get us through the city." He suggested. He was amazed how she had remained awake for the entire trip. She seemed to have an unending energy resource. He didn't know what to do if she did in fact get sick. She was probably still sick from the cold she'd caught a few days earlier. They passed a few men and women, but none of them looked at the mounted passengers.
They are used to this by now, he thought bitterly. People surviving attacks. He moved one hand from the reins and leaned back a bit to stretch his back. He couldn't wait to get off this creature! Gently he wrapped an arm around Evaline's stomach; mostly to warm her but also to hide her body from passers-by.
As they finally reached the hospital, Rowan could feel his head go blank. He struggled to stay awake, but managed to keep his body active, while his mind had drifted away. A number of priests and healers came running out of the building, when they saw the group approach. Rowan managed to halt the horse, and - with the help from numerous healers - he awkwardly climbed off. He helped Evaline down as well.
"We were attacked," he then said, with a dry voice, turning towards the healers. "By the... The Darkness." He smiled, as an older man offered him a robe to cover him in. Evaline got one as well. The white wool felt like the softest silk against his skin. "Her leg and back... She needs help. Immediately." Two men grabbed Rowan by the arms and started escorting him inside. A woman went to support Evaline.
They were brought into a very bright room, with white beds, white walls, white curtains and people in white clothing. Rowan was placed in a bed, and the healers rushed over to undo his improvised bandages. "No." He said firmly, as he realized Evaline was not being tended to. "Her first. I'm fine. I insist that you help her first. If she refuses, then do not listen. Her mind is fuzzy - she will tell you that she is fine, but she is not. Help her. Save her." The healers looked puzzled as he waves them off, but alas they did as he asked and left him in peace. Evaline was put in a bed further away - he couldn't see her face.
She will probably disagree with what you just did... Logic said.
Probably... But I want her to be safe. Even thinking drained his energy. He didn't have time for his senseless thoughts. He put his hand on top of the cloth, covering his chest wound. He grit his teeth in pain. Then he smiled. They were safe...

At least they had to go down another road, with a fewer people around. It calmed her heart abit, being watched by strangers wasn't really a dream for her. She liked being alone, not being watched naked. Yea sure, she could change clothes infront of people and be naked infront of one person. But if they tried something she could kill them, here it was a freaking city! And she was hurt, she couldn't attack them at all. Nor would Rowan allow it.
When he suddenly said she could lean back, she lifted her head a bit once again. "Wouldn't that hurt you? I mean.. Your chest is hurt, and it would properly hurt like hell if i did so?" She had turned her head a bit, to look at him. Tho she couldn't really get a glimpse of him. Which made her turn her head back. She would sigh softly, as she moved her hair away from her face with one blow.
When she felt his hand wrapping around her waist, her face became uncontrollably red. All her blood rushed to her face, making it feel like her brain was being boiled! What was he doing, wh-why was he doing this, should she ask him to stop. Then again, it did warm her a bit. and feeling his soft skin against hers... No! She slowly leaned back, when her eyes calmly closed. Now hiding her gray eyes, from the people around them. Tho if he showed any sign of pain, she would move away from him fast.
When they finally stopped, it took some time, before Evaline woke up. She was tired, hadn't really slept in days. So being awake had suddenly became a challenge for her. She gazed at Rowan, as he helped her down the horse. She did her best, for not stepping down first with the injured leg. They people around them, were rather fast. They all grabbed Rowan and dragged him inside, where Evaline would stand behind starring at them. This was weird, so very weird. When a nurse wanted to support her, Evaline refused, only to walk rather slow into the hospital.
So this was a hospital, how creepy? She looked around, before being placed on a white bed. People were talking around her, kind of making her feel like something was very wrong. When they all suddenly came to her, trying to help her she ofcause refused. Rowan needed more help, his injures were worse, why would they help her first! It could all be heard near Rowan, she was indeed in the same room with him, tho far away from him.
After a while everything calmed, and the doctors would get to Rowan. With some of the healers, they would heal his inner, as carefully as they could. Tho they couldn't heal the wounds, not when they were infected. If they did, the infection would get into the blood, being ceiled in behind skin. They cleaned his wounds as careful as they could.

Everything went dark.
...
Rowan opened his eyes. The room was engulfed in golden evening light. His pain was gone. Almost, at least. Had he really slept through the night? He turned to find Evaline - it was routine by now, to search for her the moment he woke up. She was in a bed in the other end of the room. He watched her as she slept, her chest rising and falling ever so softly.
"Evaline?" he whispered to see if she was awake. No response. He sighed and decided that he could not stay in bed all day. His back was aching, but felt much better than before. He pushed himself out of bed and stood for a moment on shaking legs. Then, after getting his balance under control, he walked to the nearest window. Outside he saw a beautiful park stretching further than he could see. Outside people were enjoying the late evening sun. Men and women were picking apples from a tree, and a few children were playing around them. He suddenly noticed Evaline out there. How did she...? Jacob ran around her chasing a squirrel. They were both laughing, as something big and dark rose behind them. "No..." The Beast moved swiftly and was above them within seconds. Rowan banged on the glass with all his strength, screaming in agony. "Evaline! Watch out! NO!!"
Rowan gasped for air and almost jumped out of the bed. He sat up in a swift and sudden motion, staring wildly at the empty room before him. It was lit by the soft morning sun. He found Evaline in her bed. He was still in the bed. His chest hurt, his back hurt and his head hurt. It was all coming back...
"Just a dream..." he gasped in between breaths, and used the blanket to wipe the sweat off his forehead. I have a fever, he noticed. His entire body was shaking and his eyes were heavy. He turned his gaze towards Evaline, who looked so calm and peaceful in her sleep. She was safe. Has she bathed? He frowned, as he noticed her white skin was clean; no sign of dirt or blood. He turned to look at himself, and found that he too was clean. And not wearing the robe he had been given earlier. In stead he wore a white tunic with matching white trousers. The thought of someone else washing and dressing him sent a shiver down his spine.
"Evaline?" he asked softly. A few seconds later, the door opened and a nurse walked in with a tray of food.
"Good morning!" she said cheerfully. "I hope you slept well! I've brought you some breakfast and some tea. The tea was made from handpicked herbs, that will help you heal faster!" The woman sounded almost too cheerful. Rowan smiled at her and thanked her, as she placed a plate of who-knows-what in his lap. She then put a similar plate on the small table next to Evaline's bed.
"You have been sleeping for quite a while, sir." The nurse said as she turned back towards Rowan. "Two days, actually!"
What?!
Rowan looked at her in surprise. She didn't give an explanation or say anything further. She simply smiled and left them to eat their breakfast.

But when the nurses had tried to wash her, she had fought them. She did wake up, to a few people undressing her.
But now, now she was sleeping. Everything had calmed her, the white walls were still creepy in her eyes. But it calmed her, to hear people talk around her, to listen the kids running around outside of the window. The nurse who walked in, woke her. She blinked a few times, before closing them again.
Why did she talk so loudly, she tried sleeping here! Couldn't she bring her cheerful butt elsewhere. She sighed softly as the nurse left the room. Evaline pulled herself up, her eyes was tired, and her woken face must have been one of the calmest sight this day, tho again it must've been the calmest side of her. She drove her hand through her hair, making sure that it weren't puffy. She turned her head towards the food, where she lifted it to place on her lap.
What would this shit be? She sniffed to it, before lifting it towards her mouth. When her lips were wrapped around the fork, she sat still. Staring at the windows, before putting it on the table again and placing the fork on the plate. "Good luck eating that shit." She whispered, her voice was a bit cracky, a sign of a cold that had only gotten worse. She had turned her back towards him, why? She didn't really know herself, but somehow she could still fell his arm around her waist. Why wouldn't this feeling disappear from her body! She sighed calmly.
Another nurse walked into the room, where she looked at Evaline. "Miss... Miss we have to clean your leg now." Once again they had to clean her wounds, her leg was lucky. They talked about cutting it off, but when it had been said infront of Evaline, she started beating the doctor who said it! No one should cut of her leg, not while she were alive. If she could fight, her leg should be fine!
Which it did, it still looked horrible but, it was better than before. A close sign of recovery! Evaline sat up once again, where she pulled her legs to the other side of the bed. She once again had her back turned towards him, She didn't want him to see her wounds, they were gross even for her.

I've been sleeping for a while... My body has been working on over-time. I must've healed a lot by now." He turned his eyes towards Evaline. She had her back turned. In the meantime, a nurse had started chatting with her. He couldn't hear what they were saying - he didn't really care. It didn't matter. A sigh of relief left his lips as he sipped his tea.
"Sir? Hello. How are you feeling?" Rowan grunted and sat up - had he fallen asleep? The empty tea cup was still in his hands. He felt drowsy. The doctor watched him with a soft smile and a raised eyebrow.
"I'm... I'm feeling pretty good, actually." Rowan said with a smile, and rubbed his eyes. "How is Evaline?" he then asked and nodded towards his friend.
"She is recovering. Her leg was pretty bad, but fortunately it has started healing nicely. It will take some time before your wife can walk, though." The man replied.
Rowan opened his mouth to correct the doctor's mistake, but instead let it slide. It didn't matter.
"Do what you can, please. She likes walking." He smiled, and the doctor returned his smile before leaving. Rowan watched as the man left the room, and once again they were alone.
"Evaline? How are you feeling?" he asked, and tried to push himself to the side of his bed. Slowly and doubtfully he put his feet on the cold stone floor. His legs were shaking beneath him, but somehow they supported him. He grinned in excitement. His back and chest ached, but somehow that felt good. It was the good type of pain. He remembered how bad it had been before, and compared to that, this pain was nothing!
"The doctor told me your leg is getting better." He said, as he slowly moved towards her bed. The distance was very short, and it took a long time for him to walk over there, but it felt good. When he reached the bed, he sat down next to her healthy leg - he actually hardly sat on the bed at all. The fear of angering her made him cautious, and so he more of less just leaned against the bed. He smiled at her.
"Can you believe we survived all that?"

Sv: What the void brings w. Evaline
Was this creepy place making her lazy? either way, she just had to heal, then get back to her village. Maybe talk a bit more with this wolf? She signed, talking with a wolf, that didn't do anything but growl, speak towards her in an ill-mannered way.
When the nurse left, she pulled the blanket over herself. Her eyes searched towards the wolf, as he was already fast asleep, with a teacup in his hands. How could he... he had a... but... She shook her head as a smirk formed on her soft lips. Well, he could still sleep after a cup of tea?
She pressed herself down in the bed, as she stared upon the ceiling. This shit, should never have happened. She attacked a stranger, she passed out and was carried to the strangers home, then she went naked in front of him, then pulled off his shirt... hmm She kissed him, hurt him, kicked him... She even cried for once infront of him. She sighed deeply, Atleast she cried when darkness had surrounded them, crying in daylight would have been shamefull. She placed her hand over her eyes, she really was a cry baby, even tho she never showed it to anyone.
She stayed like that for over an hour, maybe two. When the doctor came in, talking to Rowan. She didn't move at all, why should she. He must have gotten better, if her leg was getting better, his wounds should look almost perfectly fine now. She did tho move, when the doctor said the word WIFE. Did they even look like a husband and wife, yea she didn't wear much, but she looked rather dangerous didn't she? She removed her arm from her eyes, as she looked towards Rowan.
Her eyes widen a bit, as she saw the smile on his lips. Why smile, wasn't it annoying to be called a couple, when he hated her so dearly, or well hated or something. If he truly hated her, he wouldn't have helped her at all. So, maybe just uhm... She closed her eyes, she didn't know, she didn't really care at all. Smiling could be anything, maybe the doctor had a bugger?
"Husband and wife... Heh...." She slowly sat up, as the doctor had left them. "Why didn't you correct him?" Not that she was putting alot of thought into it, it had no meaning at all. But, wouldn't you normally correct a person that made such a mistake. Since it was rather personal having a wife and everything?
When he asked her, how she was feeling. She lifted her shoulders. "uhm, Fine I think.. How about you? Does your back still hurt?" She asked with a soft voice, as she looked at him. Wait, was he moving towards her bed? It made her heart beat, she was properly smely, which would mean... He would comment on it, or making jokes about it. She moved a bit, to make room for his B.U.T.T... on her bed!
"It is... It still looks gross, but hey.. I'm alive, and keeping it." She pulled her healthy leg up, hugging it a bit, as she leaned her cheek on the knee. "So... I've been wondering... Why do you keep acting mad at me, then turn nice, then mad again? Do i annoy you that much?" She gazed upon him, as her lips were a bit apart. As she sighed softly.
"I'm surprised that you survived..." After her words she lifted her head quickly. "Not that your weak!" She pulled her legs under her, as she would bit her lower lip in pain. She leaned towards his face, once again she was invading his personal space. "Your strong, you just got quite the beating. I wouldn't have survived it... So... i... uhmm" Could she even save it? She wasn't trying to be mean or rude, but what she said was a bit rude. Her lips barely touched his once again, as she was making the so called puppy eyes, while looking into his eyes.

As she made more room for him, he finally settled himself more comfortably on her bed, but still managed to not take up too much room. "I'm glad you're feeling better. My back is much better too, thanks." He'd always known that werewolves healed faster than some other races - still it was strange. How had he survived? He had no doubt, that she saved his life several times. And keeping his chest from collapsing... His memory brought him back for a split second; the pain of lashing his own ribs upwards, forcing his fingers through the chest wound... He shivered, shook his head and brought his focus back at her. Her question made him frown.
"Mad at you?" He hesitated; unsure of what to tell her. "I'm not really mad at you, actually. I think I'm just confused. And mad at myself. I'm sorry if I've made you feel bad. I don't dislike you - you're... nice." He wasn't sure if 'nice' was the right word to use to describe her, but he couldn't think of anything else to say. Her next comments made him lift an eyebrow. After listening (and watching) her dig her own verbal grave, he laughed - which caused him a bit of pain - and shook his head. "I honestly didn't think I'd make it. I'm pretty sure I owe my life to you. Big time!" The more he thought about it, the more true did it sound. "I can't believe you killed that thing. That was amazing!" He grinned.

"Never thought it through... can't believe you did either." She smiled kindly towards him, as she softly yawned. She had slept for hours, but still felt so very tired even now. Normally she wouldn't be able to sleep near a stranger, but getting to know Rowan for the past days, when they were hurt. Made her somehow comfortable, which made everything so weird for her. She shouldn't feel that way, nor should she make a bond to him. Getting a friend outside the village wouldn't be the first time, but since he didn't talk rather nice about her village, it could be one of the weirdest friendships in the whole world.
She nodded as he talked. Somehow his voice sounded more warm, maybe a bit soft? She couldn't really tell, he were like a tikking bomb sometimes, being nice, having the calmest voice, till growling towards her, almost speaking with an invisible spear. "I'm glad... " She closed her eyes, as she smiled kindly for herself. His back and bones were healing nicely, which made her heart calm a bit. Atleast he wouldn't die while she were there, if he did, it would all end so weird. A person dying infront of her, when she kind of, wanted him to live. Why, she didn't really know, didn't really think much about it. Maybe it was because of him giving her a warm place to sleep, and some food? Who cares anyways.
"Confused?" She said with a low voice, was she confusing him. And he wasn't mad at her but himself, that shouldn't be healthy for your mind. Then again, she was so unknown to all of this. She never been in a hospital, nor had she been near a city this big. Then again, she never really spoke to outsiders, unless they had something she wanted to know. She shook her head once again. "Don't worry about it, it didn't really make me feel bad, more like... annoyed, it annoyed me every time your mood suddenly changed. As if someone would be controlling you." She once again smiled kindly to him, as he called her nice. It sounded a bit forced, tho she liked it. She had never in her life, been called nice. But, well, she did see herself as a nice person once in a while.
When he suddenly laughed, she lowered her head a bit, as a slight blush formed on her cheeks. Why was he laughing, she wasn't trying to be funny? Tho... it was better than him yelling at her, or getting mad. She slowly smiled, for once it was a forced smile. She found this a bit embarrassing, why would he even be laughing?!
"You dont owe me anything, if you hadn't been there, i wouldn't have made it..." She slowly sat down again, as she would run her left hand through her hair. "But i always wanted a slave, so sure.. Be my slave" She sat still for a few minutes, with a serious face. When she started laughing. "Just kidding, i wouldn't need a slave... But im glad that you see it that way, and find it so amazing, that i killed it." She had never been praised for killing anything, but some stranger, who didn't like the villages rules, somehow praised her for killing a monster? "Tho i couldn't have killed it, if you hadn't saved me. It had me hanging, in my leg. So... Thanks... Thanks a lot... You're stronger than you look."

"I promise that no-one is controlling me." The thought made him frown with amusement. Having some tiny creature sit in his head, pulling levers and pushing buttons. He kept his laughter to himself - no need to laugh and be too witty all the time. It had annoyed him, when the nurse had been this happy - had it rubbed off? It almost annoyed him to smile this much.
"I'm glad you don't need a slave. I would have to start a revolution and throw dirt, if I was your slave. Besides, you'd soon learn that I'm an awful slave. I don't clean, wash clothes and I talk back all the time. You'd probably cut off my head within the first week." He smiled. Again. Storm it! Stop smiling!
Her compliment was actually surprisingly nice to hear. He had thought that compliments coming from her would be unnecessary; giving that she was a wild woman with a fiery temper. Still... It felt great that she acknowledged him - if only just a little.
"You're not too bad yourself. Strength-wise, I mean." He flushed, as he realized how silly that sounded. Quickly he scrambled to his feet and cleared his throat. "Anyway, I should let you get some rest. You seem tired. We will talk tonight. Or tomorrow. Who knows?" He smiled again and put a hand on her shoulder. "Sleep tight. Get better soon!" Then he returned to his bed; his legs were barely able to carry him there, and as he sat down he groaned in both relief and pain. It felt good to feel alive.

It was so weird, that he had survived. A wolf really were amazing, at so many points.
So no one was controlling him at all, tho he still seemed like it. She lifted her head a bit, as she looked up at the ceiling. The stars were hidden behind that simple roof, tho. What time was it, would the stars even be viewable. She took a deep breath, before turning her face towards him again.
"Well, I think you would bring a bit excitement into my life, if I made you my slave." She spoke jokily, as she leaned a bit closer towards him. "Then again, talking back at your mistress, would be a pain." She slowly drove her finger tip down his neck. "But i wouldn't behead you for something like that." She moved a bit away, as she made a small grin on her lips.
Strength-wise... That was one of the weirdest compliments, tho it sounded a bit cool. She opened her mouth a bit, as he suddenly jumped to his feet's. Her eyes somehow became sad, as a kind smile were on her rubin lips. She wasn't tired, not that much at least. "Well... I'm not tired..." She looked a bit down. "But fine, sleep tight." She pulled the blanket over her, as she layed down in the bed, she turned her back at him, as a small sigh slipped through her lips. Why sleep? She kind of wanted to talk more to him, just chatting, but... Sleeping did sound like a good idea.
