Her steps were filled with underlying anger. Her face didn’t show it but her body couldn’t hide the rage that had built up inside her ever since she got the heart-breaking message. Clary? Dead? And by the hands of her best friend as well? It was like being stabbed with a knife and not even through the heart which would be the most merciful stab in the world. No it would be a stab right next to it, hurtful and the possibility of actually surviving. As she opened the door, she was greeted by one of the housekeepers, a smiling young man that stood in her way:” Goodevening Ms.O’Qui…”
Before he could finish the greeting, she grabbed him by the collar, catching him completely off-guard and with a surprised expression he got hauled through the hall, crashing onto some tables at the other end. She exhaled furiously as she then took a few steps in, stopping in the middle of the hallway. “Josette! Move your corpus out this hallway this instance, so I can tear it apart and leave you for dead!” she yelled, feeling her sharp two-set fangs extract from their place as the smell of blood hit her nose.
Of course, the housekeeper had to be an angel. A fallen one, but it didn’t change the fact of how delicious angel blood was. As soon as she saw her, an angry snarl left her mouth. “You know. I don’t usually do friendships. I find them quite boring.” She started explaining as she stepped a bit closer, yet keeping a distance. “But then I met you, the angel that supposedly were to change my mind. I took you into my heart, I loved you like a sister. But I suppose my love wasn’t enough for you, seeing that you still found the will to kill my baby sister in cold blood, let her bleed out on the stone floor as if she had no worth at all!” she screamed at her, clenching her fists.
But she wasn’t going to attack her. That would be way too easy. She frowned at her, waiting for some sort of explaination, anything that could explain why Josette would kill her sister. She knew that Lavender would do anything for family – Who wouldn’t? She sighed angrily and turned her attention to the moaning housekeeper in the corner of her eye, before she walked over to him. She could hear his little heart pound in his chest. She looked up at Josette shortly before grabbing him by the collar. She knew how much these little angels meant to Josette.
In a split second, her hand pierced his chest with ease, making him scream in a short agonizing scream, that stopped as soon as she ripped out his pounding heart. She held it up in the air for Josette to see before dropping it to the ground. That would probably be one of the worst things to do. Not even feed on the poor soul, just let him decay and become nothing else than a revengeful kill. But it wasn’t enough. Lavender was so blinded by anger, she wanted to hurt her further.

It was not really anything she had wanted to happen. Clary was dead, stupid Tera - she ruined everything. Now she had to explain to Lavender, and it wasn't really that easy -and she didn't even think she needed to come up with an explanation. It wasn't her whom had killed that demon girl, she was just a part of it - and death happened? It wasn't really anything knew. Somehow she felt a little odd knowing she might have lost a good friendship - Josette didn't even do real friendships - because most people couldn't stand her annoying thing where she shifted mood all the time. Lavender seemed to had found out how she worked, and it wasn't till now she realized that. Her brain worked against her most of the time, those damn parts where she couldn't see things clear - where everything just were so damn bloody and messy. Not that she hated it, the only thing she hated - was that she couldn't control it sometimes, these parts of her would take over her ability to think reasonable. Josette reacted the second the door opened, and she was already slowly on her way out. The smile got a little bigger as she heard Lavender yelling at her. Chaos was always welcome.
"Oh please, that was a new table," she sighed as she rolled her eyes. A part of her understood why Lavender was so angry, if anyone were to kill of one of her own sisters - it should be Josette herself who did it. For a minute Josette stood close to a wave of humanity, there wanted her to apologize to Lavender for everything - but she couldn't even speak those damn words.
"I wasn't about you. It had nothing to do with you, I simply wanted to push Tera a little, and it shouldn't even have been something to harm you. Things got a little out of hand," it was far the closest she had been to apologize to anyone. It wasn't really her thing, and no one really ever apologized to her - so why would she do it? Josette was rather calm, more calm then she usually would be. She might even feel a little bad, or what was it? Something didn't feel right about this situation, and it wasn't really the fact that Lavender suddenly killed the angel - it just triggered another part of her.
Josette raised an eyebrown at Lavender, as she held the heart in the air. But Josette looked stone cold, like it was nothing. Her face had before shortly had this little crack of emotion, but it was gone now. Not because it angered her, or even hurt her. She was past that path, if her fallen angels died - it was simply because they couldn't defend themselves - and were weak little things. So death seemed like the best way out of that. Lightly Josette lifted her hands up and clapped few times before she placed her hands on her hips.
"Dear, listen. I can see you are angry, and you want to tear some people apart. You almost had me emotional for a second, you know? So close.. then you had to trigger the voices in my head, like damn girl," a little laugh left her lips as she titled her head a little to the right. She stepped closer towards Lavender, she knew the vampire in front of her was strong - she knew how strong angry people could be. Josette was far from stupid, but she also had the ability to manipulate the air - and she could easy push her away - if she wanted to. But the new ability, the electric shock just by a single touch. The thing was just it, she didn't want to hurt Lavender. She hated herself for it, but clearly this part of her mind didn't really care. It was far to fascinated by Lavenders anger - because it knew Lavender clearly was the only person, Josette could act totally normal around. "By the way.. have you seen Audrey lately? She payed me a visit not that long ago, I was surprised to see her alive - more fun it is to watch Caroline thinking that I have no idea. Maybe I just have to kill her again.. or.." After a few seconds of thinking she shaking her head a little, "..nah, that's no fun," she added. Maybe this part of her just wanted Lavender to be pissed at her. If Lavender was pissed at her, she had no weakness other then Ramsay. The more people you loved, the more weak spots you had.

She wanted to rip her heart out. The little angel had to suffice for now. She shone with anger, her shoulders almost trembling. But as Josette spoke, the emotions, the voices, she realized that this wasn’t her usual self either. This behaviour, irrational anger was not in her. Why would she have her blood boil when it could never do so? Her heart was dead and her blood cold – It was time to behave so as well. When Josette asked about Audrey, Lavender simply shook her head. She came to realize that this was silly. What she had for Josette wasn’t love for a lover. But Josette had her heart, if she had one.
“You’re only lucky that my love for you is as strong as it is. I am at my wits end and only love is keeping me from tearing you apart with whatever I got.” She said angrily before exhaling deeply. It did help her to let out some steam. But in the end, she wasn’t mad about Josette killing Clary, after all it was more of a relief that it was at the hands of Josette. It could’ve been painful and long but it wasn’t, so Lavender couldn’t stay mad forever. Nor did she want to be angry.
She shook her head and went up to her friend, before gently putting her hand on her cheek. She kissed the other with such softness, but only a kiss that were meant for a friend. She looked Josette in the eyes and spoke in a low voice, as her hand was still on her cheek. “I will get revenge. Not because I want to, but because it’s my duty. As a sister, you know how we must respect our families. I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive me when I do. I owe it to Clary.” She explained, it sort of pained her in a way to have to do this, but it was inevitable. An eye for an eye was her mantra and she held it holy and high.
Her hand fell down to her side again as she turned away from Josette and walked the well known living room that they had spent many intriguing nights in. She turned her face to look back at Josette. “Are you not going to offer me a drink? Or do I have to get it myself?” she asked, with a slight smirk across her face. All ill feelings were now gone and she was ready to have some fun. What would life even be worth, if she didn’t have her best friend by her side?
“Whatever plans you’ve had for tonight – Cancel them. I demand you for the night being. As your best friend, I believe I own that privilege,” She then said as she sat down on the couch and folded her legs, exhaling deeply as she leaned back in such an elegant way. Lavender always had some sort of elegance to her every movement. Like she was somehow royalty, only that she wasn’t. Didn’t mean that she could not behave like she was. After all, titles were nothing if you didn’t have the right shine to bear it. Shining without it, wasn’t a bad thing.
